Can I put an already existing invoice onto a payment instalment plan? | Yes you can, however the instalment settings within an activity that the invoice is associated with has to be switched on. To do so go into the relevant invoice, select the more tab and choose to create an instalment plan. From here configure the instalment plan as needed. |
What happens if the credit applied is more than the payment instalment plan? | If the credit applied covers more than the anticipated payment plan altogether - it then shows as the entire plan skipped and invoice is paid off |
What happens if the credit pays more than the first instalment? | If the credit available covers more than just the first instalment, it skips the first payment and reduces the total of the next instalment:

What happens if the credit is less than what the first payment instalment value is? | If the credit is less than what the first payment instalments value - it will reduce the total and then the remainder will be automatically deducted the next day |
Why was a customer charged when they used a credit/subsidy or voucher that covered their first payment? | To avoid fraud and theft, Enrolmy will always charge the customers credit/debit card to authenticate the payment method. The charge may be the minimum charge fee that you setup within your activity settings |
What happens if a payment instalment deduction fails? | Enrolmy will attempt to take the payment three more times |

How will payment instalments automatically be deducted by Enrolmy if I setup the manual bank payment option? | To ensure that payment instalment plans are paid by customers and reconciled automatically, we advise you to switch the Make paying by credit card the only available payment option to Yes If you give customers the option to pay their instalment plan via manual bank transfer/cash method, and a customer chooses this during their booking process. Enrolmy is not authorised to enforce card/debit card payments to ensure that your instalment plans get paid |
Can I utilise payment instalments even if I am invoicing in arrears? | Payment instalments are only available for activities that are invoicing in advance |
Can I switch on payment instalments if I have taken bookings already? | If you have taken bookings already and you invoice in advance - you can switch on the payment instalments after, however, this will only be available for new bookings made |
Why can’t I select other options for instalment plans? | Check that your Invoice Due Date is configured to be a longer timeframe to allow more options. For example, monthly instalments only becomes available if the invoice due date is at least 5 weeks upon creation |
Can I cancel a payment instalment plan on behalf of a customer if they choose to pay by a different payment method? | Yes you can by selecting the “delete instalment plan”. You can also pause or update the instalment plan. |
What happens if I change the instalment settings within invoice settings after payment instalments have been taken? | Instalment plan payment dates are set when the booking is made. If this setting changes after bookings have been made any existing instalment plans will not change (ie payments may be taken on different days to the one chosen). |
