The Enrolmy Story
The result of 5 years working with over 100,000 parents, students and organisations
Being techy types, they knew there had to be a better way for activity providers to run their businesses without getting bogged down in endless forms, admin and stress. Who wants to do that when you could be running amazing holiday programmes, before and after school care or extracurricular classes?
Together they developed Enrolmy - an automated management system for booking, enrolment, payment, compliance, health and safety and more, making the whole process of running a successful business much easier for kids’ activity providers. They wanted to empower providers to focus on kids, not tasks, and give carers the modern technology they need to stop relying on soggy paper notices and invoices at the bottom of school bags that may or may not make it home.
Enrolmy is the perfect all-in-one solution for providers running before and after school care, holiday programmes, or lessons and classes. It integrates with other software (including Xero) making it easy for organisations to use. At the heart of Enrolmy is a constant drive to find a better way of doing things.
We’re systematic and process-driven, but also believe in providing a beautiful, fast and easy-to-use experience. We care about kids, families and providers reaching their full potential. We want to give providers back the time, energy and resources to grow their business and continue doing what they really love: reaching more children and delivering high-quality activities that keep kids engaged, safe and having fun.
Dean leads a growing, diverse and talented team who are helping more and more local and international kids’ activity providers succeed through incredible software.
For Dean, Enrolmy is all about serving others, particularly providers and families. As a previous owner of the hugely successful MusiqHub, and a dad of three very active boys, he has an affinity for providers in the childcare and kids’ activity space.
Dean’s business and operational background drive his enthusiasm for Enrolmy and his passionate leadership style. He’s seen firsthand the success that comes with adopting simple, clear and smart digital processes, and it gives him great joy seeing businesses thrive.
Outside work, Dean plays guitar and is a gym-goer and runner. He enjoys music and sport and dabbles in other creative pursuits like creative writing.
Mike has been with us from the get-go and has dedicated over ten years to building websites and apps for child-centred organisations. Mike has a strong understanding of the complex administrative needs of organisations and parents alike.
Designing and making things is Mike’s happy place and where he excels. On any given day that could mean installing a new kitchen, creating an obstacle course in the garden, or developing sophisticated software to make business owners' lives easier.
Mike holds a degree in Art and Design, and he’s also been a signwriter and graphic designer. His eye for dynamic design that functions like magic makes him an invaluable asset to the team.
Outside work, Mike enjoys gardening, hanging out with his daughter and enjoying the great NZ outdoors. He also does bootcamp and running.

In his spare time, Andrew enjoys playing music, mountain biking, sport, sailing and kayaking. He’s also a bee-keeper, looking after a couple of hives at home.
Mihi started as our content creator, social media pro and lead generator. As a real people person, we thought we’d put those skills to good use, and it wasn’t long before she became Head of Customer Success.
In this diverse role, Mihi meets customers, trains and onboards new clients, problem solves and answers queries, and works across departments to create strategies that empower our providers to make the most of their Enrolmy software.
Before Enrolmy, Mihi worked in several social media management and creative roles, as well as customer service jobs.
Outside work, she’s heavily involved in volunteering at her church, including organising events. When she’s not keeping active at the gym or playing netball, she’s also enjoying local markets, exploring cool adventure spots or socialising with friends over brunch.
Angela has an impressive marketing background and has worked for loved kiwi brands like Skin Institute and Bay Audiology. In both the UK and New Zealand, she developed marketing campaigns for various organisations, including a Fortune 500 company.
Angela holds a Marketing and Management degree from the University of Cork. By making the most of her broad skillset – from branding to direct marketing, communication to customer relationships – we can inspire more providers to automate and streamline their processes, so they can get back to doing what they love. With three active sons, Angela was attracted to Enrolmy as a company that helps kids activity providers fulfil their potential.
Angela unwinds with exercise – she loves running, weightlifting and yoga. She is also fascinated with education and psychology and has a keen interest in the performing arts.

Passionate about sales and being involved in the kids’ activity space, Celeste is a perfect fit for Enrolmy. As our sales consultant, any new enquiries or interest around Enrolmy come directly to her, where she proudly shows off our brand.
Celeste joined us in 2016. Before that, she’s been a business director of two companies in the medical and dental space. She knows what it takes to run a successful business and how having access to the right tools can really enhance what you do.
As a mum of two, she loves giving her kids opportunities to engage in art and free play. She also spends a lot of time giving back to her local community, and enjoying the many beautiful lake, bush and beach walks nearby. She’s a keen reader, and swims when she can, too.
CJ has worked for major sporting organisations, NZ Cricket, Auckland Cricket, and Active Auckland. In her varied and successful career, she’s been a coach, Early Childhood Educator, and worked in business development.
CJ's passions lie in community outreach, helping small businesses succeed (especially those with a sports focus) and getting kids active. Through her work with NZ Cricket as a female development manager, she contributed towards more women picking up the bat, by shaking up the game and smashing gendered stereotypes.
CJ is excited to empower activity providers to develop the right structures and systems so they can best help families.
In her spare time, you’ll see CJ playing sports and staying active, whipping up something delicious in the kitchen – she’s even in the middle of creating a recipe book – or jamming out to music.
An expert in marketing and automation, Lez works closely with Angela to make our marketing campaigns happen, and the rest of Enrolmy to find ways to deliver the fastest and easiest customer service experience.

Lez is a dad too. Outside of work, he’s likely bench pressing – he competes in power lifting – playing drums or indoor football, or visiting his extended family in Australia and India.
This summer we welcome Emily as our Customer Service intern. Emily is in the middle of her BA in Creative Writing at Massey University and enjoys all forms of storytelling.
