About Agile Tennis
Nau mai, haere mai, welcome to the Agile Tennis whānau.
Modern Coaching. Strong Foundations. A Community Where Players Thrive.
Based at the Forrest Hill Tennis Centre, Agile Tennis delivers modern, player-centred coaching for players of all ages and abilities.
We believe every player has their own unique potential and develops at their own pace. By ditching the traditional, "one-size-fits-all" approach to coaching, we keep our groups small and our training completely adaptable. This means plenty of direct attention from our coaches, helping every player build genuine confidence, sharp skills, and a lifelong love of the game.
Why Families Choose Agile Tennis
🎾 Agile, Adaptable Focus: We don't do massive groups or rigid, "copy-paste" lesson plans. By keeping our classes small, our coaching stays highly responsive—adapting on the fly to provide personalised attention and feedback that meets each player exactly where they are within the group.
🎾 Right from the Start: We focus heavily on the grassroots stage—building sound technique, fluid movement, and game awareness from day one. Getting it right early matters, because untangling bad habits down the road is an uphill battle.
🎾 Comprehensive Pathways: Our experienced coaches stay ahead of the current junior development landscapes in New Zealand and Australia. We offer a proven, structured pathway that guides players from the Hot Shots programme to High-Performance squads, supporting players from Interclub competitions and regional events through to national tournaments.
🎾 A Supportive Tennis Whānau: We’re proud to be a vibrant community where players, parents, and coaches work together to help each other grow both on and off the court.
What We Offer
📅 After-School Coaching – Weekly sessions during the school term, timed perfectly to fit right into your family's routine.
🎒 School Holiday Programmes – This is not a casual play group; we train with purpose. These high-intensity training programmes are designed to rapidly boost confidence and accelerate skill development over the holidays.

AGREEMENT TO TERMS
By completing a booking, making payment, or attending any programme, lesson, camp, tournament, or event delivered by Agile Tennis Limited ("Agile Tennis"), including those held at Forrest Hill Tennis Centre, Becroft Park Tennis Club, or other venues, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Enrolment & Accuracy of Information
Parents/guardians must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during the enrolment process.
This includes, but is not limited to, any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, disabilities, behavioural concerns, emergency contact details, or other information that may affect a participant's ability to safely participate in programme activities.
Parents/guardians are responsible for notifying Agile Tennis of any changes to this information as soon as reasonably practicable.
2. Payment & Fees
All programme fees must be paid in full prior to participation unless otherwise agreed in writing by Agile Tennis.
Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
Except where required by law, including under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, enrolment fees are generally non-refundable.
Where a participant voluntarily withdraws from a programme after it has commenced, no refund will be provided.
Agile Tennis reserves the right to remove a participant from a programme due to serious or repeated misconduct, disruptive behaviour, or safety concerns. In such circumstances, no refund will be payable.
3. Absence, Credit & Makeup Policy
To maintain programme quality and class structures, the following policy applies:
4. Weather & Programme Cancellations
Programmes generally proceed in most weather conditions where courts remain safe and suitable for play.
No refund, credit, or makeup session will be provided where a participant chooses not to attend a session that proceeds as scheduled.
Where Agile Tennis cancels a session due to unsafe weather conditions, facility closures, or other operational reasons, Agile Tennis may offer a makeup session, programme credit, or alternative arrangement where reasonably practicable.
5. Class Placement
To support participant development, enjoyment, and safety, Agile Tennis reserves the right to place or reassign participants to groups based on age, skill level, maturity, attendance patterns, and coaching assessments.
Class placement decisions are made solely at the discretion of Agile Tennis coaching staff.
6. Supervision
Agile Tennis coaches are responsible for supervising participants only during their scheduled programme times.
Parents/guardians remain responsible for participants before the scheduled start time and after the scheduled finish time and must ensure prompt drop-off and collection.
Participants must remain within designated programme areas and follow all instructions provided by coaches and staff.
7. Health & Safety
Agile Tennis is committed to providing, so far as is reasonably practicable, a safe environment for participants, staff, contractors, volunteers, and visitors in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
Participants and parents/guardians agree to:
8. Medical Emergencies
In the event of an accident, injury, illness, or medical emergency, Agile Tennis staff may administer basic first aid and/or seek appropriate medical assistance where reasonably necessary.
Parents/guardians authorise Agile Tennis staff to obtain emergency medical treatment for their child if they cannot be contacted promptly.
Any costs associated with medical treatment, ambulance services, or healthcare providers remain the responsibility of the participant or parent/guardian.
9. Participant Behaviour
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards coaches, staff, volunteers, other participants, parents, officials, and facility users at all times.
Bullying, harassment, discrimination, abusive behaviour, dangerous conduct, or repeated disruption will not be tolerated.
Agile Tennis reserves the right to remove, suspend, or terminate a participant's enrolment where behaviour is considered unsafe, inappropriate, or detrimental to the programme environment.
Where reasonably practicable, Agile Tennis will communicate with parents/guardians before taking such action.
10. Child Safety & Wellbeing
Agile Tennis is committed to promoting the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of all players participating in its programmes.
Participants, parents/guardians, coaches, staff, contractors, and volunteers are expected to contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
Any concerns relating to child safety or wellbeing should be reported to Agile Tennis management as soon as possible.

Where reasonably practicable, Agile Tennis may provide alternative arrangements, programme credits, or makeup sessions.
