About Kids Music Company
As well as establishing music foundation skills, an important part of the programme is the "whole body activities" - these develop the whole brain and body including strength and coordination of large and small muscles, the development of balance, space perception, concentration, language, listening, memory, self confidence and a positive self-esteem.
Because music is the medium for learning, classes offer opportunities to develop skills in singing, moving in time and playing a range of instruments for 1 year olds through to 12, giving children a head start in any music related study for the future.

Terms & Conditions
1. PAYMENT REGISTRATION:
1.1 Lessons: Enrolling in Kids Music Company lessons secures a particular space for your child in the class for the whole term, regardless of attendance.
Levels 1-4 have multiple classes. If a session is missed, it may be made up in a parallel class where one exists. Make-up sessions can only be used alongside (and not in place of) a full enrolment. Missed sessions cannot be credited towards term fees.
Older levels don’t have make up classes available. Payment is on a per term basis and is expected by the date due on the invoice.
1.2 Term Length: Typically, there will be between eight and eleven lessons per term, depending on school term dates and public holidays.
1.3 Fee payment: All fees should be paid in full, by week two of the term. If this is awkward for you and you wish to make a special arrangement, please let us know.
1.4 Family discount:
* Younger siblings under 12 months accompanying Level 1-3 classes are free.
* Younger siblings 12-24 months accompanying a child in Level 1-3 classes (on full term enrolment) will be charged 50% fees.
* Two siblings enrolled in the same class in levels 1-5 (on full term enrolment) will be charged 1½ fees.
* Twins (on full term enrolment) will be charged 1½ fees.
* Families with 3 or more children enrolled (on full term enrolment) will receive 25% discount on fees.
1.5 Late payment: Late payment constitutes default under this agreement. All fees outstanding after week three of the term will incur a $10 admin fee unless payment is arranged with the office.
1.6 Indemnity: The parent/guardian agrees to indemnify Kids Music Company against all costs, whether commissions, legal fees or otherwise, incurred by Kids Music Company or their duly authorised agents relating to the recovery of any monies, goods or services that may be outstanding from time to time pursuant to the terms of this agreement.
1.7 Discontinued lessons: Teachers also reserve the right to discontinue any student for reasons including but not limited to inappropriate behaviour, lack of parental support, non-payment of fees, or sporadic attendance.
1.8 Note: Tuition fees are reviewed annually and at least one term's notice will be given of any change in price.
2. REFUND:
2.1 Missed sessions: No refunds or credits will be given for missed sessions as your space cannot be sold to anyone else. Where there are classes available, we offer one make-up session per term for a class missed in that term. Please arrange this with the office.
If you miss one or more sessions during the term due to sickness or holidays, you will still need to pay for the sessions as the space has been held for you. Make-up sessions need to be taken in the term when they were missed. If the absence is in the last 2 weeks of the term the catch-up session may be taken in the following term, but only if the child is fully enrolled in that term.
2.2 Teacher absence: If the Teacher is unavailable to give any scheduled lesson (e.g. due to sickness) the fee for that session will be carried forward and credited to the following term.
2.3 Note: Any enrolment cancelled by the client will incur a $30 admin fee, the balance being refunded.
3. STUDENT HEALTH AND SAFETY
3.1 Medical information: In the interests of the Student's well-being whilst in the Teacher's care, the Teacher must be informed of any medical or other condition affecting the Student.
3.2 Student care: Children aged four years old and under must have a parent/caregiver accompanying them at all times, including during the session and any time before or after the session that the child is at Kids Music Company.
