Griffith Sport offers a range of sporting programs during school holidays to help keep your kids active. Your youngsters will have loads of fun, make new friends, and learn some pretty awesome skills.

Griffith Sport Active Kids
The program incorporates over 16 sports and includes swimming lessons each day. The program is split into a Junior (5-8 years old) and Senior (9-13 years old) program, The Junior Program is focused on sport-based fundamental movements and the Senior Program is focused on sport-specific skills in a game setting.
Tennis Holiday Camps
The program provides the perfect building blocks to accelerate your child's Tennis development over the school holidays including enhancing hand-eye coordination and motor skills.

Terms & Conditions
- Enrolments must be paid for online, in full at the time of booking, through the EnrolMy registration platform
- Refunds are not available except where a cancellation is required due to a medical condition. Cancellations due to medical conditions will be refunded upon receipt of medical certificate.
- If your child misses a session that has been confirmed, for any reason other than one of a confirmed medical nature, the session is forfeited.
- All purchases of Active Kids merchandise are final as per the online order. Purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except in the event of a genuine fault with the item purchased.

- Enrolments for each day close at midnight of the evening prior, unless already sold out. For example, registrations for Monday close at midnight Sunday, the day before.
- This program is only open to school-enrolled children, in prep to age 13 years.
- Your child/ren is expected to participate in all activities offered in the program. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with the program and to advise Griffith Sport in writing if you do not wish for your child/ren to participate in a particular activity.
- Please ensure Griffith Sport staff are made aware of any information you deem important in relation to your child/ren and/or family (such as excessive fears, toileting, behavioral styles, interests and abilities, cultural values and religious beliefs).
- It is essential that prior to commencement of care all enrolment information is complete and up to date. You will be prompted before completing an enrolment for each new program, to check and if necessary, update your child’s Safety Form (Registration Form).
TRANSPORT

- All children enrolled are expected to behave appropriately and follow the instruction of Griffith Sport staff members.
- Griffith Sport staff will manage children’s behaviour in the manner set out in the Active Kids Behaviour Management Guidelines.
SAFETY
- Griffith University will not be held responsible for accidents or loss of property in connection with any child’s participation in the program, except where the accident or loss of property is directly attributable to Griffith University’s negligence or failure to comply with its legal requirements.
- If there are any court orders relating to the powers and responsibilities of the parents in relation to the child or access to the child/ren, please notify the Programs Manager.
- If the authorised parent/carer is not the person dropping off or picking up the child, you will need to notify Griffith Sport via your Safety Form (Registration Form), or via an email to activekids@griffith.edu.au. Please include the person's name, relationship to the child, and contact details.
- To ensure safe operations, our program relies on ratios. To maintain the safety and wellbeing of all children and to assist with daily programming, it is essential your child is able to comprehend basic instructions and communicate with staff, especially in the event of an injury or illness. - Please note: The Active Kids program is a NUT FREE program.

- You are required to provide your child with an appropriate hat for the environment: a broad-brimmed style that offers protection to the face, ears and neck and does not fall off.
- Your child must be dressed in such a way to provide protection from the sun.

- For the safety of our customers and staff it is program policy that ONLY registered children and program staff are allowed to enter the Recreation Hall.
- This program is unable to care for sick children or children with a contagious illness. We ask that if your child is sick to please keep them at home. We also recommend obtaining a medical certificate in order to apply for a refund.
- Please note: If your child/ren requires the administration of medication please complete an Authority to Give Medication Form.
- In the event of an accident, injury, trauma or illness suffered by your child, you agree that Griffith Sport staff are authorised to seek or where appropriate administer such medical treatment as is reasonably required.
PHOTO & VIDEO CONSENT [/ul]
- Photograph to be taken.
- Image to be used by the organisation in photos used for display purposes and in official organisation documents such as reports and promotional material.
- Image to be used in photos on the organisation’s website, Image to be used in photos on the organisation’s official social media pages.
Videography Consent: You are giving permission for:
- Videos including your child to be used to promote the organisation.
- Videos including your child to be used on the organisation’s website.
- Videos including your child to be used on the organisation’s official social media pages.
PRIVACY
- Griffith University is collecting personal information from you to administer its events and activities. In this case, the information is being collected by a third party, on our behalf. If you choose not to provide the requested personal information, we will not be able to proceed with offering you access to the event or activity which you are seeking to participate in. The personal information does not usually require disclosure to any other entity, and will only be disclosed if a legal, government or regulatory authority requires the information for a specific and valid reason.
