Riverina School OSCAR Programme

About Riverina School OSCAR Programme
At Riverina School, our OSCAR (Out of School Care and Recreation) programme is designed to provide a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for children before and after school, as well as during school holidays. Our goal is to support families by offering flexible and high-quality care that caters to the needs of both students and parents.
Before and After School Care
Our before school care starts bright and early, ensuring that children have a smooth transition into their school day with a nutritious breakfast and a variety of stimulating activities. After school, we provide a structured yet fun environment where children can unwind, participate in creative and recreational activities, and enjoy a healthy snack. This time also includes our integrated homework club, where dedicated staff provide assistance and a quiet space for children to complete their assignments, ensuring that they keep up with their schoolwork in a supportive setting.
Holiday Programmes
During school holidays, our OSCAR programme transforms into a dynamic holiday club, offering a diverse range of activities including sports, arts and crafts, excursions, and themed days. These programmes are designed to be both educational and entertaining, keeping children active and engaged while parents manage their work commitments.
Highly Trained Staff
Our team of highly trained professionals is the backbone of our OSCAR programme. Each staff member is selected for their experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to child development. They undergo regular training to stay updated with the latest in childcare practices and safety protocols, ensuring that your children are in capable and caring hands at all times.
Collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development
Riverina School OSCAR programme proudly collaborates with the Ministry of Social Development. We accept WINZ (Work and Income New Zealand) subsidy payments, making our services accessible to more families. This partnership ensures that financial assistance is available to those who qualify, easing the burden on parents and allowing more children to benefit from our high-quality care.
At Riverina School, we believe in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the growth and development of every child. Our OSCAR programme is here to make a positive difference in the lives of our students and their families.
