Terms & Conditions
TERMS, CONDITIONS & DANCE SAFETY:
Once students are enrolled in Everdance Studio we ask that all students/family members abide by the following rules and regulations. These are put in place to ensure you/your child is safe at all times and enjoys coming to class. Please be advised if a student/family member is found to have breached any of the rules and regulations outlined below, Everdance Studio reserves the right to withdraw a membership with no refunds. Please read the following guidelines carefully and explain them to your child.
Students are to arrive 5 minutes prior to class and must check in with our receptionist/teacher prior to entering the classroom.
The parent/guardian or student (18+) understands it is his/her own responsibility to supervise their child to and from the classroom door and acknowledge the instructor will only supervise the student when in the classroom for dance classes. Students are not to be left alone at any time. This includes before and after class. Everdance Studio’s duty of care does not extend beyond the classroom.
Parents are required to remain outside the classroom while classes are on.
All choreography belongs directly to the Studio and is not to be reproduced or performed in public or at any public event without permission from the owner/instructor. No filming of choreography is allowed at any times and is not to be posted on social media for privacy reasons. This includes weekly classes and performances.
Any custody arrangements that are in place that affect student collection or drop-off for class must be made known to the instructor. Please advise and add complete details of all adults authorised to collect the student as well as emergency contacts when enrolling.
For student safety, each student and guardian have an obligation to advise the instructor of any injury or illness the student is suffering. Completion of the appropriate Illness/Injury Form may be required. For long term illness/injury please complete all details on enrolment. Some illnesses or injuries may require a medical certificate or clearance to recommence classes.
The parent/guardian or student (18+) consents to receiving dance instructions from the instructor and understands the purpose of advising the Studio of any illnesses and/or medical conditions that may restrict the student. If any circumstances change, please advise the instructor as soon as possible.
Keeping students healthy and safe is our priority. If an injury occurs during a class, the injury must be reported to the instructor immediately.
Studio uniform is compulsory and is to be worn to class and performances.
Students are to bring a water bottle to ensure hydration levels are maintained.
No jewellery is to be worn, and hair is to be tied up away from face.
No smoking/vaping or alcohol use.
The parent/guardian or student (18+) agrees to pay annual membership and class fees and any voluntary costs (e.g. costumes) associated with you/your child. Parent/guardian or student (18+) understands you/your child will not be participating in any Studio classes or events while having an outstanding account. Failure to pay any outstanding accounts will result in legal action.
Dancing is a physically demanding activity. Students participate in all classes and performances at their own risk and releases the instructor from all liability to the greatest extent possible at law.
The parent/guardian or student (18+) agrees that the instructor will not be held responsible for any injury caused to the student arising from any accident or mishap whilst the student is in the care of the instructor (whether the accident is alleged to have been caused or contributed to by the negligence of the instructor). Parent/guardian or student (18+) agrees to indemnify and keep the instructor indemnified against any claim, damage, judgement, award, cost or other loss which the instructor may suffer as a result of any action brought by or on behalf of the student against the instructor arising from any such accident.
Parent/guardian or student (18+) must ensure they/their child demonstrates respectful behaviour at all times. This includes behaving appropriately before, during and after class, when performing in public and anytime the student is wearing an Everdance uniform. There is a zero tolerance for disrespectful behaviour and consequences may occur if a student is deemed to be displaying disrespectful behaviour. This is at the discretion of the instructor or owner.
Everdance Studio reserves the right to ask any student or family member to leave the Studio if they appear to be breaching Studio rules and/or displaying inappropriate, aggressive or anti-social behaviour, using offensive language or derogatory comments about any member of the Studio. This also applies if any of the above offences are carried out via social media.
As a parent/guardian I understand I may be required to obtain a volunteer Bluecard to assist at performances and events throughout the year. Students’ safety is a priority within the Studio therefore it is important all rules and regulations are adhered to following the updated guidelines.
From the 2026 Everdance team, thank you for joining us and we look forward to a wonderful dancing year!
