Terms & Conditions
CHARGES TERMS & CONDITIONS
• The agreed daily rate applies to our people with a certain level of support needs. If additional support requirements are needed the daily rate will be adjusted to reflect the additional support needs
• All activities are charged at the “activity rate” specific to that program. Unless booked for a half or full day
• The agreed rate is payable in all circumstances until the end of the booking cycle, or the individual withdraws from our programs, (withdrawal information below) except for public holidays and end of year annual closure.
• For all new enrolments, there is a Two-week period, where you will be charged the daily base rate. This is reviewed after Two weeks, and based on the identified support need, this charge may be increased to reflect an increased support need.
• We require a minimum of TWO weeks (14 days) notice to withdraw from any of our programs. You will still be charged (as per above) for the Two weeks from date of withdrawal notice being received.
• Each attendee with recurring bookings is entitled to Two-weeks “sick leave” per calendar year where you will not be charged. This is Pro rata to the individual’s bookings
For example,
5 full days per week = 10 days per year
½ day per week = 2 x ½ days per year
1 program session = 2 program sessions per year
• Failure to inform the Shed Project of “absence” prior to the beginning of the days booking will result in a full charge for the missed program
• In order to retain your place (bookings), A 50% charge will be applied for planned holidays, not exceeding 10 working days, where the Shed Project has been given a minimum of 14 days notice, in writing.
Longer holiday absences will be discussed on an individual basis.
Failure to supply notice in advance will result in a full charge being processed.
• Unsociable / inappropriate behaviour that has a negative impact on The Shed Project Kapiti, the surrounding community or other attendees, may result in a “stand down” period. This period enables us to review support needs and implement strategies, while supporting our people who were directly impacted by the behaviour. This stand down will not exceed 7 days, and a meeting with Management, the individual and their representative will be held within the stand down period.
• During any stand down period the full booking price will be charged
• We are closed for ALL Public Holidays
• Invoicing is processed every week and sent to your nominated email address.
• Invoices that are 30 days past due, will incur a 10% late payment fee
• It is agreed that you will be liable for all additional recovery costs if unpaid accounts are sent to a Debt Recovery Agency to recover any fees with The Shed Project Kāpiti
