About Te Awamutu Kids Zone
We provide a morning drop off and afternoon pick up service to and from the following schools:
* Puahue
* Te Awamutu Intermediate
* Kihikihi
* Te Awamutu Primary
* Pekerau
* Te Awamutu College
* Waipa Christian
* St Patricks
* Nga Pura Pura
* Paterangi… We drop off and pick up from their school bus at the College bus stop on North Street.
In the mornings a Kids Zone staff member sees the kids onto their bus. And is there to
greet them as they get off the bus in the afternoon.
* Pokuru… In the mornings kids get dropped off to their school bus at the College bus stop on North Street.
After school we pick up from school bus at St Patricks bus stop on Rewi Street. In the mornings a
Kids Zone staff member sees the kids onto their bus. And is there to greet them as they get off
the bus in the afternoon.
Once all children have arrived at Kids Zone we have afternoon tea (we provide), do a homework session for those wanting homework done while at Kids Zone…. then its supervised free play. We are happy to drop children off to after school sports, tuition, music, Brownies, Pippins, swimming etc (in Te Awamutu and before 4.45), if needed. And we will do our best to get them there on time
We are Oranga Tamariki approved. WINZ approved also, so you may be entitled to an OSCAR subsidy. Applications available at Kids Zone.

Te Awamutu Kids Zone is collecting this information for the purpose of enrolling your child for theBefore and After School Care and Holiday Programme Services. This information will be used foradministration purposes and to contact you in the event of an emergency, or purposes directlyrelated to Kids Zone. It will not be disclosed to any other party except as required by law. If youfail to provide this information, the enrolment may not be processed. Any information kept iscollected and is kept in a safe and secure place. Any personal information will be used in the developingof, and running of Kids Zone. Unless required by law, the lists held will not be sold or disposed of toany other person or company and remain for the exclusive use of Te Awamutu Kids Zone.
PARENT/GUARDIAN DECLARATION
I, the undersigned, approve of my child/ren involvement in Kids Zone Before & After School Service andHoliday Programmes, and have read all conditions on this form.
I give permission for my child/ren to participate in activities organised for the days my child/ren will beattending, including watching G & PG videos/movies.
I authorise staff, in the event of an accident or illness, to obtain all necessary medical assistance for mychild/ren and agree to meet any expenses attached to such treatment.
I acknowledge that my child/ren will not attend the service if suffering from an infectious or communicable diseases as identified by the Department of Health.
Except as otherwise expressly required by law, Kids Zone does not accept any liability for personal injury,property damage or loss sustained by any participant as a result of his or her participation at the Before& After School Care or Holiday Programmes due to any cause whatsoever unless caused by the provennegligence of Kids Zone, its Director or Employees.
I authorise staff to apply sun screen to my child/ren if I do not provide such.
I fully understand that if my child/ren continuously demonstrates inappropriate behaviour after guidance procedures have been followed. I will be notified and my child/ren may be removed, suspended for a periodto be determined or excluded permanently from the service.
I agree to pay for all of the days my child/ren is enrolled in (and not cancelled within the relevant timeframe), regardless of whether my child/ren actually attends.
I understand if may account goes into arrears I will be charged an interest rate of 5% on a fortnightly basis.After 4 weeks the account will be referred to a debt collection agency for recovery and I will be liablefor the debt collection costs, this could include any legal costs. I further understand the debt collection agency may provide such default information to other parties not limited to credit reporting companies who may usethat information for their clients and they may also load a credit default with a credit reporting company.
The information I have provided is true and correct, and I have provided WINZ this same information. Iam responsible for communicating this information to WINZ and I understand that if any details areincorrect then full fees are payable by myself for use of the service until the details are corrected by WINZ.
I understand that if my account is not paid in full by the due date, my child/ren enrolment and bookedsessions maybe in jeopardy, and may be subjected to exclusion from the service.
I understand that Te Awamutu Kids Zone is authorised by Child Youth and Family, to operate sole charge attimes when the roll falls below 10 children.
I understand that Te Awamutu Kids Zone hours are 7am to 6pm, and that a late/early fee of $1 perminute per child will be applied for any late pickups after 6pm or early drop offs before 7am.
