Important Information

KIDS COASTAL OASIS
Before School Care • After School Care • Homework Club • Tutoring
Kids Coastal Oasis was established in 2018 as a privately operated out-of-school care service for families with children aged 5–12 years in the Beachlands and Maraetai community.
We provide before and after-school care for children attending Beachlands School. We also offer a collection service for children attending Maraetai Beach School, bringing them to our Beachlands centre for the after-school programme.
EXPERIENCED, LOCAL CARE
Our programme is run by Jane Foote, who has been running the Oasis programme for the past 28 years. Many local families will know Jane from the original Oasis programme previously located at Beachlands School.
We aim to provide children with a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment before and after school, while reassuring parents that their children are well cared for.
MORE THAN AFTER-SCHOOL CARE
In addition to our before and after school programmes, families can choose from:
Kip McGrath Tutoring
We provide professional tutoring for students from Years 1–13 in English, Maths and Science. If you are concerned about your child's progress or would simply like to know where they are currently working academically, contact us to arrange a free, no-obligation assessment.
Homework Club
Homework Club gives students dedicated time and support to complete their school homework.
Families can choose the combination of care, tutoring and homework support that best suits their child's needs. A healthy afternoon tea is provided during our after-school programme.
BEFORE SCHOOL CARE
Monday to Friday | 7:00am–8:10am
Children can start their day in a relaxed and welcoming environment, with a yummy breakfast included.
AFTER SCHOOL CARE
Monday to Friday | 2:30pm–6:00pm
A healthy afternoon tea is included.
Children attending Beachlands School make their own way directly to the centre after school. They exit the school grounds at the Bell Road gate and walk straight into the centre without needing to cross the road.
ENROLMENT & BOOKINGS
We have limited spaces available and operate primarily on an enrolment basis.
Bookings and enrolments are managed through Enrolmy, making it easy for families to manage their bookings.
Enrolments can be made for specific days and times or on a full-time basis. Where spaces are available, casual bookings may be made for days on which a child is not normally enrolled.
Please note:
• Once a child is enrolled or a casual booking has been made, the booked sessions will be charged regardless of attendance.
• Enrolments can be changed or cancelled with two weeks' notice.
