Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) is a Tabletop Role Player Game (TRPG) that is are a computer free, fun and enjoyable way to help develop your child's socialisation, teamwork and problem solving skills. A TRPG is a form of role-playing game where the participant describes their characters actions through speech. Players have the freedom to make choices that shape the direction and outcome of the game. Players act out their role by deciding and describing what actions their characters will take within the rules of the game. In most cases the players work in teams to solve in game challenges. Suitable for beginners or those who have never played before.
 
Lead by an experienced Dungeon Master the D&D holiday program is both a great introduction to the game and a social activity.

Important Information

In-studio sessions are held at iCode Studios which are located at 124 High, St, Belmont, Victoria.

All sessions are Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) and run for 1 hour unless noted otherwise.

Each course requires a minimum of 3 students to proceed, where possible other options will be provided.

Plan Managed NDIS participants will require a specific NDIS compliant invoice to be sent to their Plan Manager, NDIS participants will be invoiced according to individual plans and at market rates. Please call the iCode Crew on 0480080256 if you have any questions or concerns.

Cancellation Policy

At iCode School, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule a class. Our cancellation policy is designed to ensure fairness and consistency for all students while allowing flexibility where possible.

(a) Class Cancellations & Catch-Up Classes

(i)If a student is unable to attend a scheduled class, a catch-up class may be offered where possible.

(ii)Catch-up classes are subject to availability and must be taken within the same term.

(iii)If a catch-up class is not possible due to scheduling constraints, fees for the missed session will not be refunded or credited.

(b) Cancellation by iCode School

(i) If iCode School cancels a class due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., staff illness, venue closure), a make-up session will be arranged or a credit will be applied to the following term.

(ii) If a course or program is cancelled by iCode School, families will be offered a full refund or a credit toward future classes.

(c) Withdrawal from Term-Based Programs

(i) If a student withdraws from a term-based program before the start of the term, a full refund will be provided, minus a $40.00 administration fee.

(ii) If a student withdraws after the term has commenced, no refunds or credits will be issued.

(iii) In exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical reasons with supporting documentation), refunds or credits may be considered at iCode School’s discretion.

(v) If a client has a personal payment agreement and contract they will be required to provide 2 weeks notice prior to class cancellation.

(d)  Experience Sessions or Initial Assessments

(i) Experience Sessions or Initial Assessment fees are non-refundable. However, if the student enrols in a full-term program, the fee may be deducted from the term fee.

(e) Private Lessons

(i) A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a private lesson.

(ii) If less than 72 hours' notice is given, the full session fee will be charged, and a catch-up session will not be available.

(iii) One cancellation per term may be permitted without penalty, subject to approval by the Manager.

(f) No-Show Policy

(i) If a student does not attend a class without prior notice, the session is forfeited, and no refund or credit will be issued.

(g) Refund Policy

(i) Refunds will only be issued in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

(ii) Refunds are not provided for missed classes unless iCode School cancels the class and cannot offer a suitable alternative.

(iii) If a student withdraws from a term-based program before the term starts, a refund will be provided minus a $25 administration fee.

(iv) If a student withdraws after the term has started, no refunds will be issued.

(v)In cases of medical emergencies (with a valid medical certificate), refunds or credits may be issued at iCode School’s discretion.

(vi)Refunds for private lessons will only be issued if at least 24 hours’ notice is provided before cancellation.

(vii) Clients on a  personal payment agreement and contract they will be required to provide 2 weeks notice prior to class cancellation and are required to be 2 weeks in advance of payment of classes for the child to attend.

(h) Compliance with NSW Consumer Law

This policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), as outlined in the Fair Trading Act 1987 (NSW). Clients are entitled to refunds or remedies where services are not delivered as promised or if they fail to meet consumer guarantees under the ACL.
