Hockey is a fantastic sport that our children have loved and been successful in the previous years. All training will take place here at school on lunchtimes. The tournament day will be on Thursday 21 August. If you are able to help us out with transport, coach or manage a team on this day please indicate on the form below. All children playing hockey must have a mouthguards and shinpads at both training and games. They do not need their own stick as they can borrow one from school. However it would be great for them to use their own stick if they have one. Children will also need to have knee length socks and sport shoes.

Start and Finish Times

Training will start here at school on Tuesday lunchtimes on the Astro Turf on Tuesday 3 June and will finish at the end of our tournament day on Thursday 21 August.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR GULF HARBOUR SCHOOL YOU HEREBY AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing/using or booking on Enrolmy.

You hereby agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions: Entries are accepted only with full payment on registration. IF you do not pay straight away your booking will be cancelled within a couple of hours - due to how enrol my has been set up. Please note that there are no refunds if you change your mind, or if you have already been assigned a team, ill due to sickness, medical accident, force majeure, miss a session or withdraw during the season. **Refunds for camps / events including the above will only receive 50% of the refund (excluding the non refundable deposit) if the school is notified at least a month in advance. There will be no refunds within 2 weeks of the camp or event due to bookings and payments that the school makes prior to the camp/event. If the provider cancels games or tournaments depending on their refund policy you will be refunded/credited accordingly. School based Teams (parents and students self-organise). Once you have been assigned to a team then you are committed to play for this team for that period of time. Sports Uniforms will be issued for some codes. If we do not have a uniform - Gulf Harbour PE Uniform/Blue t-shirt and shorts are fine. Once teams have been finalised there will be no changes. If you have any special requests they are to be made at the time of registration/booking i.e. if you need to be with someone specifically for transport reasons etc. please email Ruth or Sharon to let them know asap as after registration its too late. No late registrations will be accepted. No Poaching - Once you have registered your child and their team has been confirmed they can not leave the confirmed team to play for another GHS team outside the school. All managers and coaches must be listed on Enrolmy. There will be no manager/coach discounts for 2025 onwards. Remember that all Managers & coaches are voluntary positions. Make your coaches’ job easy by being appreciative and committed to your team. As volunteers their time and efforts are for the benefit of your child. Refrain from profane or abusive language or criticism of the coach or referee/umpire.It is easy to criticise but not so easy to take up the challenge yourself. Gulf Harbour School reserve the right to refuse this service to anyone for any reason at any time Requirements of being a good sport.

Focus on playing to potential and play within the rules.
Be supportive of your child and the team they are involved in
All comments from the sidelines should be positive and directed at supporting our team
Any inappropriate behaviour reflects badly on our school, the team and will tarnish the School’s reputation.
Remember to thank your coach, the official and the opposition. Always be a good sport and applaud good play.
Respect the equipment.

All players must have equal game time to ensure they feel they are participating and more game time will improve skills over time. It is important to play as a team and remember the parents of new or weaker players have paid the same fees as the more talented players.

Belongings: GHS takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to children’s property while attending events.
