Join us for an unforgettable 5-day aviation experience at the historic Ulster Aviation Society — where students learn to fly surrounded by real aircraft and aviation history.
Across the week, students will step into the world of aviation through a mix of hands-on simulator flying, interactive challenges, and expert-led sessions. Each day brings a new focus — which could include areas such as airlines, military aviation, engineering, communications, or even space — depending on the specialist instructor leading the course.
🛫 What makes it special?
Students won’t just learn about aviation — they’ll experience it.
They’ll:
- Fly realistic missions using professional simulators
- Plan routes and communicate using real pilot phraseology
- Take control of different aircraft, from commercial jets to fast jets
- Tackle exciting challenges like formation flying and emergency scenarios
- Gain insight into real aviation careers from industry professionals
Alongside flying, students will explore the museum and discover how aviation has evolved across both military and civilian worlds.
Students will also have the opportunity to take their experience even further with an optional 30-minute real flight, subject to availability and weather conditions (booked separately).
Whether your child is completely new to aviation or already passionate and knowledgable about flying, this programme builds confidence, technical skills, and real-world insight — all in a fun, inspiring environment.
