About British Young Pilots
BYP is the UK’s Nationwide flying club for kids and teens who dream big. Whether it’s flying solo at 16, earning a pilot’s license, or just exploring the skies, we make aviation accessible — and insanely fun!
Our weekend and school flying clubs give young pilots a full aviation experience:
👩✈️ Hands-on aircraft and simulator sessions
🧠 Learning the basics of flying and navigation, from physics and meteorology to practical flying skills
🤝 Making friends and meeting like-minded individuals
🚀 Fun aviation-themed activities and lessons
📈 All New starters begin with our wings syllabus, which takes one term. Students can then return to progress through our levels 1,2,3 and 4 courses, all spanning 2 terms each. By level 4, children will be at PPL standard.
