Welcome to the next part of your aviation journey!
We’re so excited to have your budding aviator return to continue their flying journey with us. This stage is designed to build on everything they’ve learned so far, giving them the chance to dive deeper into aviation and develop their flying skills even further.
This stage introduces more advanced aviation theory and continues their real flying experience, which counts towards their NPPL. The opportunity to fly each term will remain, giving students valuable time in the cockpit alongside their weekly ground school sessions. They’ll explore how aircraft surfaces like flaps affect flight, practise flying circuit patterns, and learn key techniques like climbs and descents using P.A.T. (Power, Attitude, Trim) and A.P.T. (Attitude, Power, Trim). They'll also tackle coordinated turns, complete a Straight & Level Flight Challenge at 2,000 feet, and run engine failure simulations to learn how to handle in-flight issues calmly and safely.
Each session is designed to build confidence, sharpen technical skills – and most importantly, keep things fun!
This is for progressing students who have already completed the Wings course.
