About Beehive Playcentre
Our program follows the Early Years Learning Framework, building pre-kindergarten skills in a fun, and engaging environment. Each week we develop a theme through activities, songs, stories and rhymes.
Our indoor space includes a home corner, story corner with comfy cushions, art room, and a range of toys, books, puzzles and other educational resources for the children to explore. We have a lovely outdoor play area with a cubby house, tunnel, grassy hill, stepping logs and a covered sandpit, along with a wide range of equipment to develop gross motor skills.
Sessions are led by a qualified teacher and supported by an aide. Class sizes are capped at 15 to ensure each child receives the care and attention they need to help them thrive.
Beehive Playcentre is an incorporated association run by a team of parent volunteers, with the only paid staff being our teacher and aide. As a not for profit centre, we value our connection with our Beehive families and the local Margate community.
