As a Finalist in the Telstra Best of Business 2024 Awards, our artKids artist-led after-school art and drawing workshops offer convenient onsite art classes that teach drawing and observational skills - the fundamentals of all art-making - in a fun, supportive, confidence-building environment.
Over the course of a term, we cover a wide range of mediums - pencil, charcoal, chalk and oil pastels, watercolour and tempera paints, clay, sculptures, collage, etc - giving kids the opportunity to explore and experiment. Our projects are either one or two weeks and focus on a particular drawing skill, art-making technique, artist or art movement. There is scope within the projects for children to follow their own individual interests.
Sick Child Policy: If your child is sick, please do not bring them - parents will be called to collect them. Make-up classes available are available on Saturdays at our Turner Studio or can go towards a School Holiday Program.
We meet the kids when school ends, provide a light snack of rice crackers and supervise before heading off to art.
We offer a relaxed learning environment, suitable for children who are looking for something different from the hustle and bustle of After School Care. We provide a space where there are no such things as mistakes or flops, only flopportunities!
Once-off Paid Trial class available: Not sure if the class is for your child? Contact us to arrange a trial class at the cost of a single session. If they continue, the rest of the term fee is pro rata.
