Hang with pro skaters Simon Thorp and/or Theo Clarke along with other Young Guns instructors and spend the day touring around many of Auckland’s coolest skateparks! This is an action packed day out for all skaters who have learned the basic first steps to skateboarding and love skating at skateparks. We meet at Victoria Park Skate Plaza at 9:30am and travel via the Young Guns mini van to between 4-6 skateparks around Auckland, with a lunch stop at Wendy's. We return to Victoria Park Skate Plaza at 3:30pm. Instructor/student ratio: 1/10.
- Please bring a skateboard and helmet. Please advise us if you will need to borrow one of our spare skateboards or helmets on the day.
- Other padding is optional. We don't discourage the use of other padding, so skaters are more than welcome to wear them if preferred. Extra padding is not provided.
- Children can bring lunch money for Wendy's or a packed lunch.
- If the weather is really bad on the day, there is a chance the tour could get cancelled. If there are signs that bad weather will be clearing or showers are off an on, we will utilise indoor options and the tour will go ahead. Credit will be given for any cancelled tours.
- Skate shoes or covered sports shoes are suitable for skateboarding.
- Beginners are welcome, but first time skaters will need to attend our 2 hour classes before going on the Skatepark Tour.
- Spaces are limited. If you do miss out on a place, sign up to the waitlist as quite often spaces do free up.
- If your child is unable to attend a booked tour, please modify your booking on your Enrolmy account before 07:00pm on the night before the tour in order to avoid a full charge, or to be credited.
