Learn to skateboard with pro skaters from the Young Guns Skate School. All abilities are welcome, including first time skaters and those who can skate like a pro already. All skaters will learn how to skate safely and responsibly while learning cool new tricks along the way! The main benefits of our classes are confidence and self esteem building, learning how to persevere and improved balance and coordination. On top of that, children learn how to skate!
- Exclusive to Victoria Ave School students only.
- The Victoria Ave Skate Club runs every Monday at lunchtime on the netball courts at Victoria Ave School.
- Students can bring their own skateboards and helmets along. Otherwise we have lots of spare skateboards and helmets that can be used if needed.
- Students are welcome to bring their lunch box and eat their lunch on the courts. Classes start as soon as students have finished eating their lunch.
- All skill levels are welcome to join us from beginners and up.
- The term fee covers a minimum of 6 classes and otherwise a maximum of 8 classes this term. This allows for a cancellation or two if the weather is really bad on the day of some classes.
If looking to purchase a skateboard, feel free to contact us for advice, or purchase a Young Guns Skate School skateboard. Please avoid buying skateboards from non skate shops. Email us at for more information.
Start and Finish Times
The Victoria Ave Skate Club runs every Monday lunchtime on the netball courts at Victoria Ave School. The first class of Term 3 is on Monday 29th July.
