We offer a fun-filled and safe environment for your children to enjoy before and after a long day at school. With a healthy breakfast and afternoon snack, engaging activities, and the opportunity to socialise with friends, your child will have a blast in our sessions.
Our after school club is an opportunity for child led play after a day sitting in the classroom, not an extension of the school day. We encourage the children to play outside and to choose from the activities on offer, including team games, arts & crafts, role play or reading in our dedicated early years area. On Friday, we have a skills building activity across all settings! This is advertised on social media and more information can be found in the attached PDF. Although all session lengths will be available on a Friday for your convenience, please consider a 6pm pickup if you are booking for the activity to allow time for completion.
Our reliable staff will ensure that your child is well cared for, while having a great time. Give your child the opportunity to explore, create, and have fun with us.
We run weekly Skills-Building Sessions at all settings every Friday until 6pm – and your child is invited!
Each week there is a different activity such as:
* Cooking & sharing a meal
* Making bath bombs
* Tie-dyeing
* Making bird feeders
* Baking crumbles
* Decorating plant pots
...and loads more hands-on fun!
These sessions will be advertised in advance and are all about creativity, confidence, and trying something new – together.
Shorter childcare sessions are still available, but to enjoy the full activity, we recommend booking until 6pm. There is no additional cost for these sessions, and our sibling discount applies. Simply book in for a Friday as usual.
Snacks vary by day but will usually be fruit or vegetable pieces with wraps, toast, bread sticks, crackers and/or rice cakes. Please note that this is an after school snack provided so that the children have had something to eat before heading home for their main meal, if you prefer to send in a particular or additional snack, please let us know and we will make sure they remember to eat it.
We want your children to enjoy their time with VIM. If there is anything you think we should know in order to help them settle, or they have any needs that we should be aware of, please get in touch with our Safeguarding and Inclusion Manager on seb@vimcamps.com.
