Learn to sew! Sewing Classes in Devonport

Experienced Students
This term, students will be making their very own pair of trousers - learning how to get the perfect fit, add pockets, and sew something they’ll actually want to wear. They’ll also create a patchwork quilted oven mitt, combining different fabrics and learning quilting techniques to make something both beautiful and practical.
Beginner Students
We will go through all the basics of learning to sew! Making lots of awesome projects as we go such as - scrunchies, pin cushions, soft toys, skirts and more.
We have a great student/tutor ratio. This means each student gets a lot of focussed attention. All materials and machines will be provided.

Classes are held in the Rimu Room. Head in the main front doors, to the left and up the stairs
When
Tuesdays 4.30-5.30pm
Term 3 starts from the week of the 27th of July and classes run for eight weeks.
What you need
All materials and machines will be provided.
Students also need to wear covered shoes and be able to tie long hair back for sewing machine safety.

Payment
• Pay in full by invoice due date (credit/debit card or internet banking)
or
• Pay in instalments - credit/debit card only - automatic instalments will be taken by your choice - weekly, monthly, fortnightly from when booking is made until end of activity.
A service fee (1.85%) is added to credit/debit card payments
