Teenagers Sewing Classes
When
Wednesday 4.30-6pm
Our teen sewing classes are designed to build confidence, creativity and practical sewing skills in a fun, supportive environment.
Students will learn a range of sewing and pattern-making techniques while creating clothing and fashion projects. We provide guidance with sewing basics and are happy to support beginners, however students tend to get the most out of the class when working on projects they’re genuinely excited about.
Each term, students can choose a project by bringing in their own pattern or selecting from our collection. Along the way, we’ll learn how to interpret patterns – including sizing, fabric selection, construction instructions and more.
There’s plenty of room for creativity too, with students encouraged to personalise and adapt their designs. Whether they’re making their first wearable piece or developing more advanced skills, they’ll build confidence and take home something they’re proud to wear.
Sewing is such a fantastic creative outlet and this class is all about exploring the skills that go into creating fashion.
We have a great student-to-tutor ratio, meaning each student receives plenty of focused support and individual guidance.

What You Need
Machine use, basic materials and access to patterns are included.
We recommend students bring along their own fabrics and project ideas or patterns where possible, as they’ll usually get far more from the class creating something they truly love and want to wear.
