Terms & Conditions
By making a booking with The Studio Adamstown you agree to the below terms and conditions:
All personal information of parents/ guardians and students shared with the Provider (defined here as The Studio Adamstown) will be kept confidential. Information will be shared with class/ workshop instructors and assistant instructors where it is necessary to do so (i.e. medical or behavioural information, emergency contact numbers etc). Any additional concerns about the security of student information should be raised with the provider by email or phone following a booking.
All Programs (defined here as classes and services) booked with the provider must be paid for within 7 days of receipt of invoice. Bookings are not considered secured until payment is made. If payment is not made on time then enrolment in the program may be cancelled by the provider.
It is the responsibility of the parent/ guardian of each student to provide any and all necessary medical information about each student at the time of booking by completing the safety form provided.
Any minor illness or injury of a student during a program (such as cuts and scrapes) will be managed on site by instructors. Moderate illness or injury will result in instructors contacting a students parents/ guardians or listed emergency contacts to determine the course of action or to collect the student. Serious illness or major injury will result in the contacting of emergency services and the students emergency contact.
The Studio Adamstown has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying. Bullying of any kind, including use of derogatory language will not be tolerated. Students who exhibit bullying behaviour will be dealt with by the classroom instructor in an age-appropriate manner. If the behaviour continues then the students enrolment in the program may be cancelled and parents/ guardians will be asked to come and collect their child.Any adult/ parent/ guardian engaging in what the provider deems as bullying will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
The Studio Adamstown is a nut free zone. Any and all food, drinks, snacks that are brough into the premises are required to be nut free.
Upon arrival at The Studio Adamstown parents/guardians must accompany students into the premises, to the 'sign in' point. At this point parents/ guardians will sign in students using the digital kiosk and students will have their temperature checked by staff. Any student who has a high temperature reading will be prevented from entering the classroom space and attending their enrolled program.Upon departure parents/guardians must 'sign out' each student before removing them from the premises. Only permitted parents/guardians (listed at time of enrolment) will be permitted to sign students out of their program. Students must be picked up no later than 5pm (for workshops) or 5:30pm (for after school classes).Failure to collect students by these times will result in additional fee charges.
Cancellation of a booking by the customer will result in forfeiture of the fees paid. In some cases, cancellation by the provider may result in a refund or credit note. This is at the discretion of the provider. In the case where a student is unable to attend their program due to measures and restrictions in place to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 a credit note will be issued. (see below for full COVID-19 restrictions)
Any complaints should be sent to the provider in writing via email. These will be reviewed by staff and a response will be provided to the customer. If necessary, complaints may be escalated to senior staff/ Director. If a complaint is made about a student or parent/guardian, this will be discussed with the relevant parent/guardian.
The Studio Adamstown is a Creative Kids provider and can accept the Creative Kids Voucher towards to cost of our programs. The voucher will only be accepted in line with all rules and regulations set out by Service NSW.
Due to measures introduced to manage and mitigate the spread of COVID-19 the following additional terms and conditions now apply:
- Any student with a high temperature or cold and flu symptoms must not attend their enrolled program.
- Any individual with a high temperature or cold and flu symptoms should not drop off a student or accompany a student at drop off
- Any student who has visited a hot spot (as designated by the relevant health authorities) within the previous 14 days must not attend their enrolled program
