Looking for a welcoming place where your teen can be themselves, make friends and connect with others who understand them?
The Place โ Teen Hub is a safe, supportive and sensory-friendly social space created especially for neurodivergent tweens and teens aged 12 and up.
Our Tuesday sessions provide a relaxed environment where young people can socialise, explore their interests, be creative and simply spend time with others โ without the pressure of having to fit in.
๐จ What can teens do at the Hub?
Thereโs plenty to choose from, including:
๐จ Arts & Crafts โ Get creative and explore different projects
๐ฎ Gaming โ Play, connect and enjoy some friendly gaming
๐ฏ Games & Recreation โ Enjoy air hockey, pool and foosball
๐ฟ Sensory Room โ A quiet space to take a break and recharge
๐๏ธ Relax & Connect โ Comfortable spaces to relax, chat and spend time together
Supportive adults are nearby if assistance is needed, while teens are encouraged to develop independence, confidence and friendships in their own way.
๐ A space for the whole whฤnau
Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay during the session. Grab a cup of tea or coffee, relax, and connect with other parents and caregivers who understand the neurodiverse journey.
The Teen Hub is about more than activities โ it's about building friendships, creating community and providing a welcoming space where young people can feel comfortable being themselves.
We are also growing our programme and would love to hear what young people would like to see in the future, including possibilities such as pottery, art classes, fitness sessions, excursions and other creative and social activities.

First visit: Free Trial; if taking part in our Art Activites we appreciate a $10 Koha for supplies
- Ongoing visits for General Group: $10 & BYO Device etc
- Ongoing visits for full access to activites; General Group + Art w Amy: $20
- Ongoing visits forย full access to activites; General Group + Art w Amy + Photography:$30ย
IF or Carer Respite funding can also be used.
