Week Two — D&D Day
Get ready for a fun-filled holiday programme at The Place Aotearoa! With creativity, gaming, sensory exploration, STEM and plenty of opportunities to simply be yourself, there’s something for everyone.

Join Dungeon Master Lydia from D&D Rangiora for an epic Dungeons & Dragons adventure! Roll the dice, build your character, solve problems, battle monsters and let your imagination lead the way.

Get creative with Art with Amy!
Week One — Galaxy Paintings 🌌
Explore colour, blending, texture and light while creating your very own galaxy-inspired artwork.
Week Two — Clay & Dragon Eye Sculptures 🐉
Get hands-on with clay and create your own dragon-inspired sculpture, including a detailed and magical dragon eye!
Each session is designed to build creative confidence while exploring new materials, techniques and artistic skills.

Sensory stations running throughout the day
A whole day dedicated to getting hands-on!
Week One — Sensory Bins: Touch & Feel 🪣
Explore different textures and materials through sensory bins, including an exciting excavation activity where tamariki can dig, discover and uncover hidden toys.
Week Two — Sensory Slime & Dough 🫧
Get messy and creative while experimenting with slime and dough and exploring simple STEM concepts through hands-on play.
⛏️ Thursdays — Minecraft Academy
1:00pm–2:30pm
Build, create and explore in Minecraft Academy! Develop digital creativity, problem-solving and teamwork skills while bringing your Minecraft ideas to life.

Bring your ideas to life through 3D design and printing! Explore how a digital idea can become a real-world object while developing design, technology and creative problem-solving skills.

Once the week is winding down, it's time to relax and enjoy the freedom to be yourself!
There’s no set formula — we’ll follow what the day needs. Think PJ days, popcorn, movies, games, creative activities, chill time... or a little bit of everything! 🎬🍿🎨
