Course outline
Logan Cole will lead this spontaneous and playful series of workshops designed to explore the art of improvisation across a variety of theatrical styles.
From improv games to melodrama, naturalism, and clowning. In this immersive workshop, you’ll develop essential skills in spontaneity, imagination, collaboration, and acting technique, all while boosting your confidence and expanding your range as a performer.
Logan is a highly skilled director, actor, and acting tutor living in Tāmaki Makaurau. Having studied at Te kura Toi Whakaari, and L'école Philippe Gaulier, Logan's training in Improvisation, Devising, Company Culture, Le Jeu, Clown and Boufon drive the kaupapa of his mahi.
He has worked with an array of New Zealand theatre companies (Auckland Theatre Company, Nightsong, Red Leap Theatre, A Slightly Isolated Dog, Binge Culture, Bull Rush, Two Productions, and Tāwhiri), as well as directing three original works since graduating (To Be Frank, The Play That Gets Louder, The Universe is Pretty Big and I’m Afraid of Sex).
Logan is deeply passionate about the theatre and the joy of acting.
