Lisa Sinclair is a creative artist with a background in wildlife conservation and a Diploma in Creativity (excellence, 2022). She specialises in silversmithing and stained glass art, with a particular love for enamelling and creating wildlife miniatures. Lisa has exhibited her work throughout the Wellington region and has a certificate in Adult Teaching.

Q: Do I need any prior experience? 
A: This workshop is suitable for those with some jewellery-making experience. It’s designed for intermediate level creatives who want to learn a specialised technique.
 
Q: What should I bring? 
A: Reading glasses, magnifiers or optivisor headsets with strong lenses (3.5x), your own micromotor/dremel/foredom, tiny drills, tiny faceted round stones (cubic zirconia), ball and seat burs, and 2 mm or thicker copper or silver for practice. Long hair should be tied up, and closed-toed shoes are required.
 
Q: What will be provided?
A: Cubic zirconia in various colours and sizes (1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm).
 
Q: What can I expect to take home? 
A: Practice pieces set with tiny cubic zirconia in copper, a tiny burnisher you made, and the skills to set tiny stones in your own jewellery designs.
