Students learn all aspects of horse care in a 90 minute lesson with Ella Mae.
In the world of natural horsemanship we learn to understand and meet our horses needs, developing relationships and building trust between these incredible animals and ourselves.
Ella Mae carefully guides each student according to their capacity and confidence.
Lessons include:
Paddock care and maintenance - fences, water troughs, jumps, obstacles.
Feeding/supplement requirements for horses
Grooming including brushing, hoof cleaning, horse yoga (stretches).
Horse Games/trust and relationship building
Walking/lunging and exercising our horse.
Bareback riding - develop movement awareness and balance
Saddling up
Basic to intermediate riding skills
Tack maintenance
Helmet provided (dependent on size availability).
