Skills & Drills offers a relaxed mix of coaching and play, suitable for all levels. Previously known as Mum's Club, this class is perfect for anyone looking to get out for an hour of exercise, fresh air, and hopefully a bit of sunshine!

Operates all year except during school holidays.

Mondays 9:30am - 10:30am

$20 members of SHTC

$25 non-members.

You must book through Enrolmy to play in this session. We are sorry that we are unable to accept cash from casual players. Invoices will be sent out at the end of the month with prompt payment appreciated.

Adult Programmes

Adult programmes are available for booking via the Enrolmy site at any time before the class booking window closes.
Bookings must be made in Enrolmy to be allowed to attend a session.
Priority is given to St Heliers Tennis Club members. The Club reserves the right to cancel the booking of a non-member (always giving a minimum of 2 hours’ notice) if a Club member wishes to join the session and it is fully booked.
Payment for adult programmes is expected within 7 days from receiving an invoice at the end of the month. Prompt payment appreciated.

Junior Programmes

Junior programmes are planned in school terms and include a total of 9 sessions.
Payment for junior programmes, squads is due before attendance at the first session of the term

Holiday Programmes

Daily Sign-In / Out: I agree to sign the daily attendance register and accurately record my child’s arrival and departure times.
Authorised Collection: I acknowledge that only individuals listed on the Safety Form are authorised to collect my child. Children will not be permitted to leave unaccompanied without written permission and agreement from the lead coach.
Personal Belongings: I understand that my child is responsible for their personal belongings. While the programme will exercise due care, the staff and programme are not liable for accidental loss or damage.
Participation and Risk: I give permission for my child to participate in all activities. I understand that while staff will take all reasonable care, the programme is not liable for accidental injuries that may occur during active play, to the extent permitted by law.
Local Walks and Outings: I give permission for staff to take my child on local walks and outings.
Behaviour Policy: I understand that children who are disruptive, unsafe, or non-compliant with programme rules may be excluded at the discretion of the management. The programme will follow a fair and consistent behaviour guidance policy.
Medical Assistance and First Aid: I give permission for staff to administer first aid, sunscreen, and to seek medical assistance as needed. I accept responsibility for any costs incurred.
Medication: I give permission for staff to administer prescribed medication to my child, either with written instruction or verbal authorisation. All prescription medicine is to be clearly labelled with the child's name and dose and handed to staff on arrival.
Photography and Promotion: I understand that photos of my child may be taken and used for promotional purposes. I will notify the programme if I do not consent to this.
Information Accuracy: I agree to keep the programme updated with any changes to personal information and will disclose all relevant medical conditions and allergies pertaining to my child.

Cancellation

General: No refunds or credit notes are given for missed classes due to personal reasons or for single week injuries.
Junior Classes: No cancellations are possible within one week of the first session date.
Tennis Fit and Beginner Refresher: Cancellation by the player for any session is possible at any time up to 24 hours prior to the session start. Cancellation after this time will incur a full session charge unless Sparta, in its sole discretion, agrees otherwise.
Skills & Drills, Tennis Fit and Refresher: Cancellation by the player is possible before 8am on the day of the session. Cancellation after this will incur a full session charge unless Sparta, in its sole discretion, agrees otherwise.
Holiday Programmes: To be eligible for credit note from a holiday programme cancellation, notice must be given at least 48 hours in advance. If the cancellation relates to a 5-day booking, Sparta must be advised on time, and any credit note will be calculated by adding the Standard Pricing for a single day class for all days attended and deducting this from the discounted multi-day package price.
Private Lessons: All cancellations for private lessons must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a full lesson charge being payable. Where a player becomes unwell within that 24-hour period please contact the coach immediately as they may be able to waive the 24-hour notice period.

Injury

Junior Programmes: If a Junior is unable to complete their programme owing to an injury, subject to receipt of a medical certificate, Sparta will provide a credit note for the pro-rata value of the unused sessions. This credit note is valid for use at the next available programme where the junior is fit to attend.
Adult Sessions: There are no credit notes for adult injuries given all classes can be booked and cancelled individually on 24 hours’ notice.

Bad Weather

If a tennis class is cancelled due to bad weather, players will be notified as soon as practically possible through WhatsApp groups or direct message
Cancelled junior sessions will be rescheduled during a designated wet weather week at the end of the term / holidays. If rescheduling is not possible, players will be credited for the missed session in the next term.
If the weather forces a session to stop part way through, no refund or credit note will be offered. In these instances, where appropriate, the coach will take players for covered off court fitness/classroom sessions in the club house.

Privacy

I acknowledge that Sparta will take reasonable steps to protect my personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. I have the right to access and correct any personal information held by the programme.

Unforeseen Circumstances

If sessions are cancelled due to government restrictions, credits may be offered at Sparta’s sole discretion.
