St Mary's School run our own on-site Before School & After School Care Service from our Blessed Anne Marie Javouhey Centre. This service runs from 7.00am to 8.15am and 2.55 pm to 5.00 pm every day of the school week.

The expectation is that your child should be enrolled into After School Care if they are onsite after 3.15pm.

Enrolment is made through an online booking platform called ENROLMY.

BOOKINGS CAN BE MADE UP TO MIDNIGHT THE DAY BEFORE. If a staff member needs to make an booking for you on the day it will incur a $5.00 administration fee.

Before School Care (breakfast is available)

7:00am - 8:15am $9.00

7:45am - 8:15am $7.00

After School Care (afternoon tea is provided)

2.55pm - 4:00pm $12.00

WHEN YOU MAKE A BOOKING YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING

1. PAYMENT IN ADVANCE
All bookings must be paid in advance and at the time of booking before your child attends the service.
All invoices must be paid via credit card, debit card or through the school account.
Customers will pay fees of 3.77% per credit card transaction and 2.70% per direct debit transaction.

2. REFUNDS
To ensure the viability of this service once a booking is made we are unable to offer refunds, credits for sickness or swap days due to a change of circumstance.

At times St Mary's School may not be able to provide a service due to sickness, COVID-19 restrictions, or as advised by the Principal.

3. EXTRA CHARGES
$5.00 administration fee is charged if staff need to make a booking on your behalf after bookings have closed midnight on the previous day.
$5.00 administration fee is charged every time the Finance Manager needs to follow up on overdue invoices.
$5.00 per minute will be charged for late pick ups after 5:30pm.

4. WAITING LIST
If there is no space due to staff to child ratios we will be required to operate a waiting list. Your child will go on a waiting list until a space becomes available. You will receive notification from ENROLMY if you have a place.

Enrolment Enrolment is finalised upon payment and completion of the ENROLMY online application.

Only enrolled children who have paid fully for the booking will be accepted into care. For your child's safety please inform staff of any relevant changes to your enrolment details.

Communication All communication in regards to the St Mary's School Before School Care, After School Care or the Holiday Programme should be directed to Theresa Dunston 02710363753, or by email to afterschoolcare@stmarystga.school.nz

Food & Drink Please bring a drink bottle. Afternoon tea will be provided. Please inform us if your child suffers from any food allergies.

Service Hours Before School Care & After School Care service hours are 7.00 am to 8.15 and then 2.55pm to 5.30 pm daily. (We can consider a slightly earlier drop off time). Holiday Programme service hours are Monday to Friday's from 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Bookings Making a booking does not confirm your place. You must make payment to confirm your booking. Bookings can be made through ENROLMY.

Payment in Advance All bookings must be paid in advance at the time of booking before your child attends the service. Payment is confirmation of your place in the programme. For your convenience you can pay by credit card (a surcharge fee of 1.85% applies for credit cards) or by internet banking.

Administration Fee If a booking has not been made and staff need to make a booking for you a $5.00 administration fee will be charged.

Late Fee A late fee of $5.00 per minute will be charged for all late pick ups after 5.30pm.

Follow up If late payment needs to be followed up by the Finance Manager a $5.00 fee will be charged for every email that is sent to follow up a payment.

Absences Please text 0210363753 or 027 by 7am on the day of care if your child is going to be absent. Unfortunately a credit will not be issued if your child is absent on the day they are booked in.

Refunds or cancellations Payment must be made at the same time as booking to ensure the viability of the service. We are unable to issue refunds or credits for sickness or cancellations, or for unexpected situations beyond our control.

Sick children If a child becomes ill during the programme hours, parents will be called to collect their child. The cost for the day will still apply.

Medication Any medication required for your child must be handed to a staff member upon arrival and a medical form must be recorded.

Sunsmart

Children will be reminded to apply sunblock periodically during the day. Hats must always be worn outside on hot days.

Collecting your child each day Our policy is that ALL children attending the Before School Care, After School Care or the Holiday Programme are signed out by an authorised adult. Always inform staff if a child has to be collected by a person other than the parent or caregiver. When you collect your child, it is essential that you let a supervisor know that you are taking your child home. You must use the tablet at all times to sign in and sign out. Last pickup time is 5.30 pm. Late collection will incur late pick up charges of $5.00 per minute. (The Holiday Programme closes at 5pm).

Emergencies There will always be one supervisor that holds a current First Aid Certificate. In the case of an accident involving your child, the staff will contact you. In the event of a civil emergency, staff will remain with children in the centre or a safe place until all children are collected.Parents will at all times be communicated with via HERO.

Complaints If you have any concerns, please approach a staff member directly in the first instance, they will be happy to assist you. However, if you wish to contact the Principal, Mr James Murray, please do so through the school office.

I acknowledge that by enrolling my child into St Mary's Before School Care or After School Care or the Holiday Programme the supervisor has my permission to arrange any necessary urgent medical treatment at my cost. All care will be taken to provide supervision of children attending the Before School Care, After School Care or the Holiday Programme in accordance with St Marys Catholic School policy and procedures and that neither the staff nor management ofSt Mary's Before School Care , After School Care, the Holiday Programme or the St Marys Board of Trustees will be liable for any loss or damage (by way of accident, injury, theft or otherwise) arising out of attendance atSt Mary's Before School Care , After School Care or the Holiday Programme.
