  1. Students wishing to enrol in a Speak Spanish group course, private lessons or on-line course must fill out the enrolment form on our website, once we receive your enrolment form, we will send you the invoice for the course. Payment must be made within a week of receiving the invoice to secure your place in the course, or before the courses starts if you are enrolling within a few days of starting. Discounts are only offered in the first week of the invoice being issued, after that the discount does not apply and full fees must be paid. Students must pay full course fees before the course commences.

  2. Private lessons can be rescheduled if the student contacts us 24 hours before the lesson is due to start; otherwise the student will be charged the full amount for the lesson.

  3. If a student wishes to change level, the student has 7 days to advise Speak Spanish of the change. It must be done by email – this is subject to availability in other courses and our assessment. No changes can be made after this time.

  4. Under no circumstances we can give an extension of the course.

  5. Speak Spanish is not responsible nor liable for any technical difficulties you may experience with the online courses which restrict your ability to complete the course.

  6. Students should consider their personal commitments and circumstances before enrolment as we regret that fees are not refundable under any circumstances once a course has started.

  7. No partial refunds can be granted for a course not completed.

  8. Once a student attends a class in a course, they are considered to be enrolled, and therefore will be invoiced for the full amount of the course. We do not offer Trial Lessons.

  9. Students will be enrolled once we have received full payment for the course. 

  10. Cancellations must be made by email, at least 5 working days before the beginning of a course. All cancellations are subject to a $50 administrative fee.

  11. Missed classes cannot be transferred to another term.

  12. In the event we cannot fill the minimum student quota for the course, fees will be refunded within 7 days of cancellation.

  13. Course fees do not include the cost of the student book. All adult courses require a student book.

  14. In terms of the Privacy Act, information is collected as part of the essential information the institute holds on the student. The records made from this information may be viewed on request. The school may transfer this information to other educational authorities. Speak Spanish may take photographs and create videos of students during their time at the school. These photographs and videos remain the property of Speak Spanish and may be used for marketing purposes.
  15. For Spanish Clubs at primary schools. The class will be deducted unless there is a 24hs cancelation notice by email from any party concerned.
  16. In case of a mayor circumstance: teacher is sick - we have relief teachers but sometimes it is not possible to have a relief for a particular class- or earthquake or major weather event the class will be cancelled and fees for that class will be refunded.
  17. Enrolling implies acceptance, on the part of the student, of all the terms and conditions set out above.
