PhysiTech is a unique, hands-on STEM program for students in Years 1-4, where children explore physics, engineering and mechanics in a fun and engaging way.
During the sessions, the students build moving models while learning all about how they work.
Our models use a variety of materials- like wood, glue and screws.
Students gain confidence using tools like screwdrivers and develop fine motor and problem-solving skills, while building curiosity for STEM and the world around them!
Once a model is complete, the students take it home to continue playing and learning. Students get to share what they've learnt with their families and take great pride in having built their models themselves!
Throughout each term, we build a few fascinating and original models! For example, a basketball court with a lever to shoot hoops, a battery-powered train and ferris-wheel, and a tractor that uses syringes to scoop!

The technological world is focused on finding practical solutions to meet human desires and needs while utilizing scientific advancements. Our goal is to make the physical world accessible to young children, so they learn that the world operates according to physical laws in creative ways, through active group learning.
How does it work?
PhysiTech is a unique technology club that introduces children to the world of physics, robotics, engineering, and mechanics. In the club, children build fascinating and unique models that demonstrate or illustrate scientific principles and physical laws, thereby exposing them to the worlds of science and technology. The program is specially designed for children in Grades 1–4, providing age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration and creativity.
The club enhances thinking skills, greatly contributes to the development of fine motor skills, and brings children closer to a variety of technological and scientific interests.
All the models the children build throughout the year are taken home with the goal of sharing and learning more with their parents.
