Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, stimulating and creative experience for children in a relaxed and friendly environment. Children are encouraged to explore, learn and grow. Our before and after school care programmes strive to meet the needs of each individual child.

It is time for your child to relax and enjoy themselves.

There is no compulsion to participate in any particular activity. Children are presented with a range of activities in specific locations. It could be a quiet book, a game of cards, a boisterous game outside, a movie or a chat with some friends. The choice is theirs. The informal, safe environments that we provide allow children to pursue their own interests, relax and re-energise following their busy school day.

We are located in the cafe/gym area of the Hobsonville Point Primary School. Please enter through the front main doors at the office when dropping off and collecting children and sign in/out on our ipad.

Enrolmy closes at 12pm each day for after school care cancellations.
If bookings are not cancelled by the cut off time, you will be charged for the session.
Invoicing occurs weekly in arrears, payment on invoice is required. If payment is not made a limitation will be placed on your account and bookings will no longer be able to be made. If payment is not received within 7 days a 10% non-payment charge will be added to your invoice.

Premium Kids Care

Introduction Our philosophy is to provide a safe, fun and educational environment for children to be when it is not possible for their natural caregivers to be there. We encourage the use of good manners, fair play and treating one another with respect.

We believe that we provide a professionally run quality programme that stands by its commitment to provide the best care possible for the children in your community.

Please inform Alanah, Liv or Hannah of any changes to your childs enrolment details, it is vital that we have up-to date information at all times.

General Information Bookings are essential. All absences and public holidays are charged at the hours you have booked in for, on enrolment. This applies to Before School Care, After School Care & Holiday program i.e. if you collect early, your child is sick or you take a days leave during term time. Invoices for term care are charged weekly in arrears, payment is due on receipt of invoice - if payment is not received within 5 working days a 10% overdue fee will be placed on your account. There are no refunds.

Holiday program changes: You are welcome to change days or cancel days up until the commencement of the holiday program, but once the program has commenced there will be no refunds for cancellations. Your fees will still be payable if your child/children do not attend. We make bookings and pay for activities in advance based on booked numbers. We also roster our staff based on booked numbers. The only exceptions to this rule are bereavement or if the child attending is covid postive. There are no other exceptions to this rule.

If your requirements change please notify us in writing via email or text 2 weeks prior to any anticipated change. All fees are to be paid at least one week in advance at ALL times. Any late fees will incur a 15% late penalty fee and this will incur weekly until the account is up to date. Any fees not paid will be passed on to a debt collector. If your financial circumstances change please contact Kate as soon as possible so that we can come to an amicable arrangement. Part time care will be invoiced at the end of each month

Absences/ Sick children If your child has been picked up from school or will be away please phone or text Alanah or Hannah before 12pm. If you do not make contact prior to 12pm you will be charged the normal fee for that day. Repeat occurrences of not contacting prior to 3pm will also incur an additional charge of $20 per absence. All staff have current first aid certificates, however we do not have the facilities to look after sick children. If your child appears unwell we will phone you or your emergency contact and request that your child is collected as soon as possible.

Cancelation of enrolment We require 2 weeks notice of cancelation of your childs/childrens enrolment; please provide this in writing by email [email=kate@premiumkidscare.co.nz]kate@premiumkidscare.co.nz[/email]

Picking up your child Please sign your child out on the roll sheet with the time you collect your child. Only authorized people on your enrolment form will be allowed to pick up your child. If anyone else attempts to collect your child you will be phoned for permission before the child is allowed to leave the premises. If you have any custody/court orders to restrain any people from contacting your child please provide relevant documentation and a current photo for easy identification for the staff. Your childs safety is paramount in this situation and we will take the necessary steps according to the situation. We close at 6pm and there is a late pick up fee of $1per minute until 6.10pm and then $10 for every 5 minutes after or part thereof until your child has been collected. At no stage will your child be left unattended. If you have not collected your child by 6pm and cannot be contacted, we will phone your emergency contact on your enrolment form and request that they collect your child. Please make your emergency contact aware of their responsibilities before they sign your enrolment form.

Behaviour management Premium Kids Care has behaviour management procedures and polices that are in line with OSCAR approved procedures. These are in place to ensure our programme is a happy and safe place for all children. We encourage the emphasis of being polite, co-operative and considerate to others. If a childs behaviour is consistently harmful to other children parents will be asked to remove him/her from the programme.

Staff:Child Ratio Our Staff:Child ratio is subject to a Risk Assessment Plan.

Accidents/ emergencies Our staff are trained to deal with accidents and medical emergencies. In case of a serious accident involving your child, we will contact you and take your child to the nearest medical facility. If we need to arrange any urgent medical treatment you will be asked to reimburse any direct costs. All accidents and incidents are recorded in the accident and incident book that is kept onsite.

Child Safety Premium Kids Care has a detailed Child Protection Policy. Premium Kids Care is committed to the prevention of child abuse and to the protection of children and young persons. The well-being and safety of children and young people is the primary goal of this organization. If our staff believes that any child or young person (or associated community member) has been, or is likely to be, harmed (whether physically, emotionally, or sexually), ill-treated, abused, neglected, or deprived may report the matter to a [Oranga Tamariki] social worker or a member of the police.

If a staff member has concerns for the safety of other people they come into contact with at the programme e.g.parents, siblings of children etc. they will raise these concerns with the programme supervisor and confer over an appropriate response. This may include contact with Oranga Tamariki if appropriate. A confidential written record will be kept.

Complaints Premium Kids Care has a complaints procedure which is on site. If you have any problems please approach the site manager or Kate. They will be happy to assist you with your concerns.

We reserve the right to accept/decline enrolments due to Health & Safety, legislative requirements, employment relations, government compliance or program suitability. We also reserve the right to discontinue/rescind our service for the above reasons.
