Create something lasting for the Invictus community.
Important Note
Continue the journey of creating something truly meaningful for the Invictus community in Invictus Tapestry Makers Club – Part 2. Building on the beautiful work started last semester, students will continue collaborating to create large-scale tapestry panels inspired by the Invictus House crests, contributing to a lasting artwork that will be proudly displayed around the school.
Guided by Principal Ms Sarah Thomas, students will further develop their textile art skills through embroidery, appliqué, quilting and felt work while exploring the beautiful geometric stitching techniques of traditional Japanese sashiko. Whether returning to continue the project or joining for the first time, students will work together to create a meaningful piece of art that celebrates creativity, collaboration and school spirit.
As the tapestry grows, so too will students' confidence, patience and craftsmanship, while experiencing the satisfaction of contributing to a legacy project that will be enjoyed by the entire Invictus community for years to come.
Students who participated in the previous semester are encouraged to continue the project, while new students are also warmly welcome. As this is a collaborative artwork, students will contribute to different sections of the tapestry based on the project's progress.
All materials are provided.
**Spaces are limited due to the hands-on nature of the club.**
