To enrol your children at Oscar at Oaklands holiday programme parents/caregivers are required to agree to and fully understand the following conditions of enrolment


  • For my child/ren to be enrolled at Oscar at Oaklands holiday programme I need to fully complete and sign the parent contract and enrolment form.
  • My child/ren will be signed in by either the parent, child or staff member every morning. Children will only be allowed to leave by being signed out by the parent/caregiver or someone named on the enrolment form. In order for children to leave by themselves or for a parent ringing in for their children, you must specify this arrangement on the enrolment form.
  • On the enrolment form there is a cancellation date; any cancellations made before this date will be refunded less 10% admin fee. Any cancellations after this date will not be refunded under any circumstances, including unforeseen closures.
  • Full fees will be charged if your child is absent for any reason, this includes exclusion from the programme.
  • An additional $20.00 fee will be added to your account, every time we need to contact you to see where your child/ren is/are.
  • To be accepted to the Oscar programme, the enrolment/contract form must be completed and given to the Supervisor, and full payment is due BEFORE the start of the Oscar programme unless a WINZ subsidy is paid on your behalf, in which case a $50.00 deposit is required.  If the fees are not paid your enrolment will be cancelled and the full fee will remain payable.
  • If in arrears you will be advised by phone and/or email. If not rectified or a suitable repayment plan put in place and adhered to, your account will be forwarded to a debt collection agency. Any expenses incurred by this are payable by you.
  • I understand that my child attends Oscar at Oaklands at my own risk and although proper care is exercised at all times, Oscar at Oaklands cannot accept any responsibility from misadventure, injury, damage or loss sustained to person or property while at the holiday programme or any other place visited by Oscar at Oaklands.
  • I understand that if my child/ren bring any toys/electronic equipment to OSCAR then they do so at their own risk.  No responsibility for these items will be taken by OSCAR staff.  Any inappropriate use of such items will result in confiscation.
  • All cell phones must be handed in to the supervisor every morning, and they will be returned at the end of each day. Cell phones are NOT ALLOWED to be used during OSCAR hours without permission from the Supervisor.
  • Supervisors will administer Pamol/Panadol to your child if you have authorised this on the enrolment form.  Any other medication authorisation must have a separate consent form and must be signed for on each day medication is required. In all cases Oscar at Oaklands is not responsible for any adverse reaction to any medication given to a child if the medication has been authorised.
  • I agree to my child travelling to activities on the bus or in the supervisor’s car when needed.
  • I agree to my child participating in all activities at Oscar and outings with Oscar.
  • I agree to the supervisor seeking urgent medical aid when considered necessary. Medical fees will be at your expense.
  • I understand that if I am late to pick up my child I will incur a late fee of $10.00 per child every 10 minutes.
  • Any comments/queries or complaints will be addressed only to the supervisor then if needed addressed to the committee.
  • I will advise the supervisor of any changes regarding enrolment information or change of circumstances.
  • I agree that my child(ren)’s photo may be taken and displayed as part of any OSCAR promotion.
  • No gum is to be brought to Oscar. No food is to be brought that is to be heated this includes noodles.
  • I have read, understood and agree to the above terms and conditions
  • Where you are an individual the authorities under this clause are authorities/consents for the purposes of the Privacy Act 1993.
