The Young Mariners Open Regatta

An event open to Scouts, Young Mariners and the Sea Cadets.

For everyone, a magic location to build our camping / regatta / boating experience.

Please register now to help us plan for this event. We need your registration before the 12th September so we can plan for this event in an adequate time frame, we also need to advise the organisers of our numbers.

Sailing, rowing canoeing, swimming, seamanship, camping etc, basically a fun weekend out on the water at this great location.

Date: 2 - 4 October (middle weekend of the School Holidays)

Cost: Leaders cost is covered by the Group. Parents cost is $70 (or book your own cabin / catering)

Martins Bay is approximately one hours drive north of Auckland City, it boasts a fantastic sandy beach providing safe swimming and all-tide access for boats.

YMNZ has made a group booking for tent sites to accommodate our Groups.

For families wanting to join us and looking for a cabin, caravan or tourist flat please make a booking directly with the holiday park but mention you're with the Young Mariner regatta.

6. The membership records are available to the Leaders and Managers of New Lynn Sea Scouts, and Offices, Leaders and Managers of our Regional and National organisations for use in delivering the Scout Programme to our members.
