The Village Square Trust is proud to run the before and after school care programmes for Mt Roskill Primary School. At after school care our children spend their afternoons safe and happy as they wind down from the busy school day. Activities they can choose from include colouring, chess, crafts, board games and Lego blocks as well as our daily activities linked with our weekly themes. We encourage outdoor play as much as possible and have use of the hall, sheltered quad and outdoor playground. We serve the children a healthy afternoon tea that is halal and vegetarian friendly.
If your child will be attending our programmes for the first time ever, then first things first: welcome! Ahead of your child's first session with us, we encourage you to pop in with them one afternoon so they can get an idea of where we are and who will be looking after them. It's also really helpful for us to put faces to names before your child's first session in order to make their adjustment into after school care as smooth as possible. Pop in anytime during before/after school care hours to say 'hi', our team will be happy to meet you!
After School Care Sessions
- 3pm - 4pm: $15.50 for regular bookings and $20.50 for casual bookings
- 3pm - 5pm: $19.50 for regular bookings and $27.00 for casual bookings
- 3pm - 6pm: $23.00 for regular bookings and $27.00 for casual bookings
Please note that due to our staff to child ratios we have a cap on the number of children who can book in each day. If you try to book for a session that has already reached maximum capacity you will be added to the Waiting List, and if a space becomes available you will be contacted. If you are not contacted this means that a space has not become available on that day and we are unable to accommodate your child. Please note that if you are on the Waiting List it is strongly advised that you prepare alternative care arrangements as we cannot guarantee a space will open up or when we will be informed of an opening.
