Looking for some adventure over the school holidays? Have your kids join us on a voyage of discovery on our B.O.L.D (Boating Outdoor Leadership Development) during the upcoming school holidays. B.O.L.D is an opportunity for your kids to learn about themselves and leadership through the adventure of sailing.
We aim to provide a fun, safe and hands-on environment where kids can select their own learning objectives. Our learning objectives are broken down into the categories of Plan, Prepare, Sail, Enrich and Lead, and have subsequent levels the kids can progress through.
To do this, we are delivering B.O.L.D as a full-week programme. Children must be available to attend all 5 days. This creates an opportunity to cater to a variety of levels of sailing experience and leadership skills. This means we will work with the kids as a cohort to plan the week taking into account each other’s objectives and availability. Using this approach, each child is invited to progress at their own pace to give them the tools for a lifetime of adventure or to come back and progress a bit more. A week also gives us the ability to maximise sailing opportunities depending on the weather and plan and prepare for a journey further afield.
For those who have historically completed our former BOLD Level 1 course/already have beginner/moderate sailing experience, our new week-long BOLD course is a fantastic way to continue their learning while have them set and achieve their own personal sailing goals!
This will be run on the same timings as our traditional school holiday programme - activity beginning at 9am and concluding at 4pm with early & late sessions available to book. Standard session drop off after 8.00 am and pick up prior to 4.30 pm. Anything else will be charged for, as either an early 7.30 am - 8.00 am or a late 4.30 pm - 6.00pm
