BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL CARE AND HOLIDAY PROGRAMME
(FUNKY KIDS CLUB)
Information for Parents and Terms And Conditions
Leamington School offers a before- and after-school care programme for enrolled students, as well as a holiday programme open to children from Leamington and other schools. This document outlines the terms and conditions of booking with Funky Kids Club, including accepting the Funky Kids Club Policies and Procedures document (linked). Enrolment and Booking
All children who will be attending Funky Kids Club need to be registered on the Enrolmy online system (linked) to book, follow the booking options and press save to confirm your booking. Your booking is confirmed as soon as it is saved, and you can amend bookings. If a child is booked in and no longer needs the service for that day, cancellation must be made via text by 11.59 pm the day before the active booking, and cancellations after that time will incur a full charge. Uniform
Students who attend before- and after-school care are expected to wear school uniforms unless they have permission to change for a sports activity or it is a designated no-uniform day. Uniforms are not required on Teacher Only Days and holiday programme days.
Hours of Operation
- Before School Care runs from 7:00 am to 8:30 am.
- After-school care operates from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
- Holiday Club & Teacher Only Day is open from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Please note: Any child arriving before the programme starts can not be supervised
Unless an Unaccompanied Permission Form (linked) has been completed and received by the programme, Parents/caregivers must walk their children to the hall to sign them in and collect them from the hall to sign them out.
Late Pick-Up Charges
Funky Kids Club closes at 5:30 PM. If you anticipate being late, please contact us as early as possible so we can make appropriate staffing arrangements. Late collection policy will be followed. If no contact is made, a $20 administration fee will be added to the standard late charges outlined below:
- Collected between 5:30 PM – 5:45 PM: $10 per child (in addition to administrative fee)
- Collected between 5:45 PM – 6:00 PM: $25 per child (in addition to administrative fee)
- Collected after 6:00 PM: $50 per child and $25 for every 15 minutes (or part thereof)
Absences
We expect your child to attend the programme unless you have notified us of their absence. If your child will be absent from Funky Kids Club, please communicate directly with Funky Kids Club as the school office does not have access to the FKC daily attendance and FKC does not have access to the school attendance.
If your child is absent from school due to illness, they cannot attend Funky Kids for that day.
Charges and Session Times
Note: Rates are subject to change
Bookings will be made by session times; however, if your child attends a longer session, the session time and fees will be adjusted. All debts from 2025 have to be fully paid before the service can be used in 2026.
Before School Care
7:00 AM – 8:30 AM: $9.60
7:30 AM – 8:30 AM: $6.40
8:00 AM – 8:30 AM: $3.20
8:15 AM – 8:30 AM: $2.00
After School Care
3:00 PM – 4:15 PM: $8.00
3:00 PM – 5:30 PM: $16.00
Holiday Programme
Half Day (7:00 AM – 12:15 PM OR 12:15 PM – 5:30 PM): $32.00
School Hours (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM): $37.00
Whole Day (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM): $42.00
From the start of 2026, this service will need to be booked on Enrolmy.
Children who arrive before 8:15 AM will have their booking automatically amended to the earlier session (either 7:00–8:30 AM or 7:30–8:30 AM, depending on arrival time) and charged accordingly.
WINZ OSCAR Subsidy
As Funky Kids Club is MSD Accredited, some families may be eligible for the WINZ OSCAR Subsidy. Please contact WINZ for information Winz subsidy table, Oscar subsidy information, Oscar subsidy form (links).
Some families may be eligible for a WINZ OSCAR subsidy—please check with WINZ. If approved, this reduces the cost of care. The subsidy is paid directly to us by WINZ, based on the hours of care you’ve advised WINZ. Any shortfall must be covered by the parent/carer and paid according to our terms. If WINZ stops the subsidy for any reason, you’ll be charged the full rate. If arrears are later paid, your account will be credited.
You’ll be billed for the approved hours regardless of cancellations. Any extra hours attended beyond the approved subsidy must be paid at our standard hourly rate. To request more hours, submit a change of circumstances form to WINZ.
Terms of payment
All invoices will be sent out weekly and need to be cleared within 5 days for children to continue to use the service. Debts can be paid via credit card or bank transfer.
No payments will be made directly through the Enrolmy website at this stage.
Caregivers will be charged for the session/s their children attend.
Should your Funky Kids Club Care payments fall into arrears of more than one week, the service will be unavailable until the debt is cleared. Following the BOT policy, failure to clear arrears within 3 months will result in your debt being referred to a debt collection agency, and their charges will be added to your debt.

Please note this account is for Funky Kids Club payments ONLY. All other payments should still go to the main Leamington School Account.
Health/Medical
The parents/caregiver is responsible for informing and updating the supervisor of any medical/health problems or allergies that may affect a child whilst in the programme.
MSD Accreditation Viewing Documents Waiver
I understand that the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) will have access to our enrolment records for the programme gaining/maintaining its accreditation status.
