KEA KIDS terms and conditions.

Placement in any KEA Kids programme is at the discretion of the KEA Kids team.

· All enrolments and bookings must be completed through the KEA Kids booking system, Enrolmy. · The primary parent/guardian must ensure that all information and contact details in Enrolmy are kept up to date at all times. · Fees are as advertised but may change with at least one month's notice from KEA Kids. · For the academic year 2024, Term 2, booking 3 weeks in advance with recurring days of the week is considered a permanent booking. · 3 days’ notice for cancelling permanent booking and a credit will be applied to the account. · Recurring bookings include fees for public holidays that fall within the school term. · Any booking of less than 3 weeks is considered as casual booking. · A casual booking can be cancelled at no charge, if 24 hours notice is given prior to the scheduled casual booking. This has to be done by sending an email to admin@keakids.net · Unscheduled sessions can be added at the casual session fee rate. · Booked sessions cannot be swapped to another day. Sessions can be cancelled with three days’ notice and a casual booking may be made for the additional day. · Full fees apply for all absences, whether casual or recurring bookings. Fees are waived with three days written notice. · A $20 penalty fee applies for any unnotified absences requiring staff to confirm the child's whereabouts. · One week's notice is required to terminate the child's placement in the programme. · Multiple changes to a recurring term booking may incur a $20 administration fee. · Charges are applied as per the booking. For instance, if the Customer books until 6:00 pm, they will be charged for that session regardless of earlier pickup. · If the child is picked up later than the booked time, the Customer will be charged for the difference. · KEA Kids closes at 6:00 pm daily. If a child is not collected by 6:00 pm, an additional $1.00 per minute will be charged until the child is picked up. · Payments for term care and holiday programmes can be made via online bank payment or credit/debit card (with a surcharge). Cash or cheques are not accepted at venues. · Holiday programme bookings must be paid in advance by the invoice due date. Bookings may be cancelled if payment is not made by the due date. · Changes to holiday programme bookings can be made up to one week before the session; otherwise, full fees are payable. · For term care, invoices are emailed every Monday in advance and are due within five days. Late payments incur a 10% penalty fee. · Failure to pay fees by the due date or as arranged with the KEA Kids Accounts Manager may result in cancellation of all bookings. The Customer will be liable for all collection and enforcement fees, as advised in writing. Once referred to a collection agency, no further bookings will be accepted.

· If KEA Kids is unable to open due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather or natural disasters), fees are still required. General: · KEA Kids' Management makes the final decision on disputes, despite efforts to resolve issues consultatively. · The Customer will cover any costs or fees incurred by KEA Kids in the operation, collection, and enforcement of the Terms and Conditions. · The Customer agrees to pay for any damage to premises or property caused by the child. · The child is responsible for his/her own property. · KEA Kids staff provide homework supervision, but it is the child's responsibility to bring and complete homework. · KEA Kids adheres to Health and Safety Policies and National Oscar Standards. All staff are screened, trained, and experienced for their roles. The Customer will not hold KEA Kids liable for genuine accidents. · KEA Kids' Programme Manager has the authority to arrange urgent medical treatment at the Customer's expense. · The Customer consents to KEA Kids' staff applying basic first aid and sunscreen to the child. · The Customer must keep the child's medical information updated in Enrolmy and inform KEA Kids of any changes. · A medical consent form must be completed if the child requires medication while in the care of KEA Kids. · The Customer agrees to KEA Kids discussing the child's behavior, health, and safety with relevant parties to address sensitive situations collaboratively. · KEA Kids has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, physical violence, inappropriate language, and programme disruption. Repeated failure to follow directions or a single significant behavior incident may result in the child's temporary or permanent removal from the programme at the Manager's discretion. · The child may be transported by KEA Kids' minivan, car, or hired bus as part of the programme. The KEA Kids Transport Policy is available upon request. · Headshot photos of each child will be taken and used internally by staff for identification and recognition purposes. · I understand that my child attends OSCAR at KEA Kids at my own risk and although proper care is exercised at all times, Oscar at KEA Kids cannot accept any responsibility from misadventure, injury, damage or loss sustained to person or property while at the holiday programme or any other place visited.
