At KCJ Education, we're excited to introduce our new 6 Week Letter Reversal & Spatial Awareness Programme, delivered through our Occupational Therapy services! 🖤💛
🧠 It's more than just handwriting — it's about developing the foundational skills behind learning!
Rather than simply practising letters over and over, our programme takes a structured, hands-on approach to developing the underlying skills that support accurate letter recognition, formation and spatial awareness.
✨ What will your child work on?
✅ Body Awareness & Directionality – Developing an understanding of left, right, up and down.
✅ Visual-Spatial Processing – Strengthening the ability to recognise differences in letter shapes, positions and directions.
✅ Core Strength & Coordination – Supporting the physical foundations needed for controlled movement and writing.
✅ Letter Formation & Motor Memory– Using fun, multisensory activities to develop consistent letter formation.
✅ Confidence & Independence – Teaching children strategies to recognise and self-correct letter reversals.

Why is this important?
When children are constantly stopping to think about which way a letter faces, it can place additional demands on their working memory and make writing more effortful.
