HOLIDAY PROGRAMME & AFTER SCHOOL CARE
Programme Cancellations
Katikids School Holiday Programme reserves the right to change the programme on the day for any reason (usually for weather or safety reasons) without any prior notification to parents, and a refund will not be issued. We will put on an alternative age-appropriate programme for your child in this instance.
The fee schedule may be reviewed from time to time. Where possible at least two weeks notice will be given of any change. The programme reserves the right to amend or change terms, conditions, or policies.
Holiday Programme Attendance
Drop off details for the start of each daily programme
Children must be signed in every day by an authorised parent/caregiver
If we are leaving Katikati for the day, the bus will leave at 9.00am (unless specified).
We will not wait or phone for late children. It is your responsibility to ensure your child is at the Programme before 9am each day.
Pick-up details for the end of each daily programme
Children must be signed out every day by an authorised parent/caregiver
If a child is not collected at the allocated session time the following procedure is followed:
Two staff members remain with the child
Calls are first made to parents/caregivers or emergency contact If no contact with the parents/caregivers is made within one hour of the programme closing the child will be supervised until a suitable caregiver is located (i.e. NZ Police)
A late pick-up fee of $10 may apply to children not collected on time and then a further $10 per 10 minutes thereafter (or part thereof); unless previously organised and agreed upon by the Oscar Manager or Managing Director
Parents / caregivers must inform the Oscar Manager if their child is to be collected by a person not authorised in the childs Enrolmy profile. Staff will not release a child to a person who is not authorised in Enrolmy until the parent / caregiver has been contacted. We must sight a drivers license or other form of official identification to verify the identity of the person collecting the child.
Absence / Cancellation Policy

Please report any cancellations before the programme enrolment cut-off date
NO REFUNDS will be issued once the programme has started and enrolment has been accepted. We roster our fantastic Katikids staff so that we have the correct staff /child ratios for our programme so unfortunately no refunds will be given if you cancel your booking, or your child is sick, unless you can provide a medical certificate.
Afterschool Fee Structure & Invoicing
All afterschool invoices are sent out every week in arrears
We will only accept your child on their first day back of next Term if your account has been paid. Failure to do so may result in us asking you to take your child home.
In order to ensure the best care of children in our charge it is important that you inform the programme prior to 10am on the day your child is going to be absent. Failure to notify us will result in a cancellation fee being charged and and may incur an additional fee for the time spent confirming your child's safety.

Once we receive your holiday programme booking via Enrolmy. Once confirmed an invoice will be generated and emailed to you.
We will only accept your child on their first day if your account has been paid, or you pay in the morning. For our WINZ clients, you must pay your deposit. Failure to do so may result in us asking you to take your child home.
A $20.00 administration fee will be charged for any changes or cancellations once your enrolment has been accepted

You accept full responsibility for payment of fees for all days enrolled on the basis of the fee schedule that is current at the time, irrespective of any arrangement with any third party, including Work and Income. You understand and accept that if any fee or charge remains unpaid beyond the time specified, your enrolment may be cancelled, the debt passed on to a debt collection agency and you will be responsible for any costs incurred in this process. Interest may be charged on all overdue balances and any debt collection costs will be charged to your account.
We reserve the right to charge interest at 2.5% per month and to charge a late payment penalty of 10% on any overdue accounts. If the account is not paid within 30 days after the due date, our debt recovery agency, Baycorp NZ Limited, may charge you a fee equal of 25% of the unpaid portion of the invoice amount and other legal and collections costs not covered by the fee. The minimum fee will be $25.
If your child activates the fire alarm during the School Holiday Programme or After School Programme and there is no emergency the child will incur the costs for the fire department call out and the resetting of the alarm

The Katikati Community Centre wishes to collect the written details for registration purposes.
This information will be accessible to Centre staff only (For auditing purposes information gathered may be viewed by The Ministry of Social Development or Oranga Tamariki(Ministry of Children)
