Coffee & Craft is a fun, social session where families can enjoy some creative time together while connecting with other local families.

Designed for children aged 2–5 years, Coffee & Craft features a different craft activity each session, with plenty of opportunities for children to get creative, explore and make something of their own. While the little ones are busy creating, grown-ups can enjoy a cuppa and a chat in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Session Times

Coffee & Craft is available in flexible session options:

AM: 9:00am – 11:00am

PM: 11:00am – 1:00pm

Full 4hr Session: 9:00am – 1:00pm

Cost:

$10.00 per family for a 2-hour session

$18.00 per family for the full 9:00am–1:00pm session

Booking Information

Coffee & Craft is a bookings-only program, and places are limited.

Please ensure every child attending is included on your booking, including babies and siblings who may not be participating in the craft. This helps us keep track of everyone attending and ensures we can safely accommodate all families in the room.

There are strictly no walk-ins. If a session is full, please join the waitlist and we will contact you if a place becomes available.

Families are also asked to sign in and out when attending and to stay only for the session time they have booked.

Whether you're joining us for a quick morning craft or staying for the whole session, Coffee & Craft is a lovely way to spend time together, get creative and connect with your community.

Membership

You must hold a current KCH membership prior to attending any programs. This is $40.00 annually and can be obtained through Enrolmy under our activities.

Absentees and Cancellations

Please advised we require 48hrs written notice for all booking cancellations. Any bookings changed or cancelled after this will not be entitled to a refund or credit.

We kindly ask that before leaving Coffee & Craft — even if you need to head off early — you help your child pack away any toys or activities they’ve been using. This small step helps keep our space tidy, safe, and ready for everyone to enjoy. Thank you for your support and cooperation 💛

Friendly reminder:

- Place all dirty nappies in the green wheelie bins located out the front of the carpark immediately to ensure that the smell does not linger. Do not place them in the bins provided in the toilets or rooms. If you require assistance to watch your children whilst you are disposing of a dirty nappy, please see our staff who will be more than happy to help!

- Whilst attending our parent led programs, please ensure that you are watching your children at all times, both inside and outside.

- Please do not pull out any additional equipment or toys. Our programs are very carefully planned to ensure that programs are switched up to provide a dynamic learning environment for your children. We don’t want anyone getting bored!

Terms & Conditions for Karratha Community House

Terms and Conditions:

1. Annual KCH Membership must be kept current in order to attend any of the Playgroups or Programs at KCH

2. Casual program/casual playgroup fees must be paid prior to commencement of activity each week.

3. All invoices must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice.

4. Families must be signed in on attendance sheet at the start of the program/playgroup session

5. Families must be signed out on attendance sheet at the end of program/playgroup session

6. Child/ren will only be allowed to leave with nominated persons on enrolment form. If there are any changes in pick up person parent must advise KCH staff at the beginning of program

7. Parents must complete all enrolment, disclaimer & image consent form prior to commencing program

General Room Use:

For the safety of all children we request that they be restricted from going into the kitchen and storerooms.

There may be a concurrent sessions operating in each of the rooms. Please ensure children remain within the room/outdoor play area that you are attending.

Please ensure that indoor toys and equipment are used indoors only and outdoor equipment stays outdoors.

Keep all glass doors closed to minimise power usage and maximise air conditioning.

Air conditioner thermostats are to be kept on 24 degrees and should not be turned off during the day.

Health and Safety:

KCH recognises each familys rights to immunisation but encourages them to comply with the current national immunisation schedule

If children are unwell they should not attend playgroup/programs or any other activities at the centre.

Where a child has an infectious disease such as Chicken Pox, Measles etc. please follow the doctors guidelines with regards to exclusion times.

Soiled nappies must either be removed from the premises or placed in the correct bin.

Please ensure high levels of hygiene at all times.

KCH is a NUT FREE ZONE. Please be respectful of others and do not bring these foods into the centre.

KCH is a SMOKE FREE ZONE. Thank you for not smoking whilst in the buildings or grounds

Waiver and General Risk Warning:

As a participant in this recreational activity, you may be exposing yourself to a risk of harm or injury.

I understand that Karratha Community House Inc. will take all possible care for my well-being, and that whilst I am participating in this activity, Karratha Community House Inc. staff will make every reasonable effort to minimise exposure to known risks. I also understand I have a personal responsibility to follow general safety measures.

I accept full responsibility for my own safety and well-being from the moment I enter the premises being used by Karratha Community House Inc. for the activity, or take part in the activity and I agree that if I suffer injury or illness, Karratha Community House Inc. can, at my cost, arrange medical treatment as the staff deem essential for my safety.

By signing this form, I voluntarily agree to release and hold harmless Karratha Community House Inc. its Board of Management, volunteers, assistants and employees for any damage or injuries, physical or mental, which may incur as a result of my or their voluntary decision to participate in activities operated by Karratha Community House Inc.
