Iwi of Origin is an annual Tāmaki Makaurau inter iwi waiora festival. Iwi of Origin calls all Māori to pick up the wero and champion your Māoritanga ā iwi through two-days of sports, reo, culture and more. Kei ngā rangatira o te āpōpō, nau mai ki te papa tū waewae.
In 2023 we are calling participants ‘kia tū tangata mai, tū Māori mai.’
Why? Because when you perform at your potential, you give your best performance for yourself, your whānau, community, hapū, iwi and whakapapa.
Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October, at Bruce Pulman Park step into your rangatira space.
