Hamilton Island has an abundance of family friendly activities, but it’s nice to have a bit of time to yourself and with your partner too when you are on holiday. Why not leave your children in the capable hands of the team at the Clownfish Club, the island’s holiday child care centre.


The Clownfish Club caters for all ages from 5 years to 12 years – Morning tea and lunch are provided, as well as a huge range of fun, age –appropriate activities.

Childcare Update for Guests
We’ve recently refreshed our kids’ program. As of 1st December 2025, our structured activities now focus on children aged 5–12 years, offering age-appropriate adventures designed to spark imagination, creativity, and connection with the island’s natural beauty.
While we no longer offer a formal childcare program for infants and toddlers, we continue to provide babysitting services with trusted, qualified carers. These can be arranged to suit your family’s needs and ensure your youngest ones are cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.
This change allows us to deliver more enriching experiences for older children, while still supporting families with younger guests through personalised care options.

Toys and equipment are cleaned and sanitised daily, with high use items cleaned promptly after each session.

Clownfish Club offers full day scheduling, with half day options.
Morning session: 8am -11.50am.
Afternoon session: 12pm - 3.50pm.
Full day: 8am - 3.50pm.
Saturday and Sunday: Closed.

Please note late fees will apply if you pick up your child after their session time has ended.
