Nau mai, haere mai to two weeks of hands-on creating these school holidays! Set under the stars of Matariki, the Māori New Year, Matariki Makers is all about making, building, and bringing big ideas to life.
Every day brings something new. Tamariki will hammer and decorate their very own wooden treasure chest, watch fizzy art bubble into colour, press their own badges, and get hands-on with Matariki crafts to celebrate the season. There's rhythm and energy in a bongo drumming circle, imagination let loose making scary-and-sweet underwater creatures, bold patterns in print making, and a splash of colour with terracotta pot painting. We'll wind things down with a relaxed movie and popcorn day too.
Each child takes home creations they've made themselves, alongside new friendships and a whole lot of fun. Our friendly team keeps things safe, welcoming, and full of laughter from start to finish.
Spaces are limited, so book early to secure your tamaiti's spot. We can't wait to create with you!
