About Glen Eden Community House

The Glen Eden Community House is an Incorporated society, being a not for profit organisation with charitable status and have been in operation for over 25 years.


Glen Eden Community House is committed to enhancing the wellbeing of people in the community by implementing a range of scheduled or programmed activities or services at the Community House.

Our vision is that “The Glen Eden Community House is the heart of the community, offering support, service and help to all through friendship and informal learning in a safe environment”.


The Glen Eden Community House offers many programs including:

Out of School Care Programmes:
Before School Care - We offer a breakfast club and a walking bus or drop off services to our local schools

After School Care – We have a walking bus or pick up services from our local schools. We provide a light afternoon tea, and give the children a variety of activities from Arts and Crafts to Sporting activities. We also have a daily homework/reading session with the children.

School Holiday Programmes – Activities are offered during school holiday times to provide a safe environment for the children while parents/caregivers are working or studying. We provide a range of activities at the Community House and also taking the children on outings giving them opportunities to participate in activities they may not otherwise have been able to participate in.

School Holidays

Fun activities including arts/crafts, baking, indoor/outdoor play in a safe, secure environment. 1 Trip Day per Week.
