Fees are $900 for term 3 (10 weeks)
While our holiday programmes are all about adventure, exploration, and trying new experiences, our term-time programme offers something deeper.
Attending weekly allows children to build strong relationships, develop a sense of belonging, and become part of a consistent community. Over time, children learn the routines, boundaries, and expectations of the space, helping them feel increasingly confident, capable, and secure.
One of the greatest strengths of our term programme is the opportunity for children to follow their interests over weeks and months rather than just a single day. Projects evolve, ideas grow, and children are given the time to revisit, refine, and extend their learning.
A child who becomes interested in carpentry may spend several weeks designing and building increasingly complex creations. A group building huts may continue developing their village over an entire term. Children's interests in insects, bushcraft, cooking, imaginative play, climbing, nature connection, or problem-solving are nurtured and supported as they emerge naturally.
This deeper engagement allows children to:
Build confidence and resilience
Develop leadership and teamwork skills
Strengthen friendships and social connections
Learn to assess and manage risk
Develop independence and self-regulation
Feel a genuine sense of belonging
Connect deeply with the natural environment
Children begin to notice seasonal changes, care for the space, develop ownership of projects, and form meaningful relationships with both the environment and the people around them.
Our small-group setting and relationship-based approach mean we get to know each child well—their strengths, interests, challenges, and the ways they learn best. This allows us to support children in a way that feels authentic, responsive, and individual.
For many children, Deep Roots Wide Wings becomes more than just a programme. It becomes a place where they feel accepted, capable, connected, and free to be themselves.
