Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We invite you to register your Year 4/5/6 child to play Lightning Lacrosse for Cambridge Primary School in Term 4, 2026

Lightning Lacrosse is a format that introduces primary school boys and girls to the lacrosse game. It is fun, fast and all-inclusive. Ms Stock will run a lunchtime training once a week with our lacrosse players.

COMPETITION DETAILS

LOCATION: Tom Voyle Park, Taylor Street, Cambridge DAY: Monday GAME TIMES: Optional Skills Session 30 minutes prior to each game start time

, Games at 4.30 pm, 5 pm or 5.30 pm. You will have one game each week at one of these times.

SEASON DATES: 9th October to 30th November 2026 (No game 26/10/26 - Labour Day) TEAMS: Lacrosse is played in mixed teams (boys/girls) team.

UNIFORM: CPS PE uniform and sneakers

PLEASE NOTE all equipment will be provided.

PRACTICES:Ms Stock will take practice one lunchtime a week at school.

PLEASE NOTE we rely heavily on parents/caregivers volunteering to coach and manage our sports teams. Please indicate in your registration if you are available to help in this capacity.

ENROLMY REGISTRATIONS CLOSE: 16th September 2026 FEES: $30 per player

PLEASE NOTE payment is required by Friday, 18th September 2026

Due to the nature of the sport, changes may occur to the above details prior to the commencement of the season. Should these changes affect you or your child, these will be communicated via email once you have registered your child/ren for this activity.

Below are the player, spectator, and volunteers' (coach/manager) code of conducts followed by the Four Peaks Swim School rules. Please read them carefully.

PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT

Play for enjoyment.
Play hard but fair
Play by the laws ofthe game.
Be committed to your team. Attend all practices and matches.
Never argue with the referee. Control your temper at all times.
Work equally hard for yourself and your team.
Be a good sport. Applaud all good play whether by your team or your opponent.
Acknowledge other team at the end of the game.
The goals of the game are to have fun, improve your skills and feel good

SPECTATOR / PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT

Applaud the performance of both teams.
Be positive with the referee.
Acknowledge the efforts of the referee.
Let players play their game, not your game.
Praise efforts, not results.
Set a positive example for the players
Support the Coach and Manager

VOLUNTEER'S (COACHES/MANAGERS) CODE OF CONDUCT

Be organised, with practices planned
Positively reinforce the actions of players
Lead by example
Be honest with yourself and players
Help to create and enjoyable environment in which to play the game
Develop team respect for referees
Give all players the opportunity to participate in the game
Insist p fair play and discipline
Be reasonable on the demand on players time, energy and enthusiasm
Encourage good sportsmanship

SWIM SCHOOL RULES

We ask that:

[li]Swimmers arrive at the pool, ready to swim, 10 minutes before their lesson.[/li]

[li]All swimmers MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the duration of their swim lesson.[/li]

[li]Swimmers wear clean togs, goggles, and a swim cap for EVERY lesson and bring a filled water bottle with them.[/li]

[li]All parents/caregivers, swimmers and visitors please keep noise to a minimum while waiting for or watching a lesson.[/li]

[li]Only those students who are enrolled in the session may enter the pool. Supervised siblings may observe with a parent/guardian under the sheltered area.[/li]

Please do NOT:

Eat within the pool complex.
Run in the pool complex.

Swim Level:

Lessons are performance-based. If our instructors deem that the swim level your child has been enrolled in is unsuitable for them, we will contact you to arrange an alternative level and lesson time.

Behaviour:

Our instructors have the right to ask a child to leave the pool and miss out on part or all of a lesson if their behaviour is unsafe and/or disruptive. Parents/caregivers are responsible for the supervision of their child at all times.

Health and Safety:

Please abide by the Pool Rules on the changing shed wall. Individuals not complying with these rules may be required to leave the complex.
The pool is 0.9m deep at the shallow end and 1.6m deep at the deep end. Please ensure your child is aware of the pool depth.
Please ensure the gate to the pool is properly closed after entering or exiting the facility.
Please be aware that the school pool is monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Payment, cancellations and refund policy:

Fees will be calculated and invoiced per term, and a full, advanced payment is required to secure your child's booking.
We reserve the right to cancel lesson times if minimum numbers are not met and a full refund will be made in these circumstances.
We willnotprovide a refund for lessons that are missed during the term and nor will we refund lessons if your child is removed from the pool by an instructor due to unsafe or disruptive behaviour.
We willnotprovide a refund for lessons that are cancelled due to circumstances outside of our control however we will endeavour to provide a catch up session on another day/time.
