Welcome to Module B! (previously Level 1 part two)
This stage introduces more advanced aviation theory and continues their real flying experience, which counts towards their NPPL.
The opportunity to fly each term will remain, giving students valuable time in the cockpit alongside their weekly ground school sessions.
Students will explore how aircraft surfaces like flaps affect flight, practise flying circuit patterns, and learn key techniques like climbs and descents using P.A.T. (Power, Attitude, Trim) and A.P.T. (Attitude, Power, Trim).
They'll also tackle coordinated turns, complete a Straight & Level Flight Challenge at 2,000 feet, and run engine failure simulations to learn how to handle in-flight issues calmly and safely.
Intermediate consists of modules A,B,C,D. Each module can be done in order, but children must complete all 4 before moving to advanced.
